Thing is that the Suns did not play well, apart from Gablett... and we still lost.

We only played one quarter. Got smashed in the midfield.

Play like that net week against the Tiges and our season will be over, if it is not already.

I feel sorry for the fans that went up to Gold Coast for that game - we should be made to refund all of their air fares - it was crap.

We were short 4 of our starting 22, but shouldn't make the difference between a 95 point victory and 13 point loss. Some s*** umpiring, and lack of basics from us (especially in defense), reset for next week.

One interesting point...fat BT consistantly referred to our age, and the Suns as the 'young guys'...in fact, do we have less players with over 50 games experience? We looked the younger and less established group on the night.

And Suns had as many players out as us, and so that is no reason for losing tonight....though with Joey and Sam we probably had a slight edge.

Saints were in holiday mode.....little team play, and lot's of panic football.
