The small forwards need to lift. Other than that not too bad. You can see Armitage and Steven about ready to take over the midfield reigns. Still got Schneider and Montagna to come in the team.

stupid new rule.
It was an incorrect because it wasnt forceful contact.
Asking umpires to define forceful and be consistent in its application.
We all know it won't happen.
This rule should have been trialled in the lower leagues before coming to the premier competition.
As opposed to all the other rules that are an interpretation.

Kosi was playing FF in recent years, in tandem with Roo.SainterK wrote:He would displace hickey if anyone, that's more who kosi has lost his spot tosaintsRrising wrote:Just love Maister's workrate and 1%-ers. On his game to date, Kosi is no chance to displace him.
Maister is now playing in tandem with Roo as the second key forward.
Maister has pushed Kosi out IMO.

Yeah it is really uncomfortable and happened alot last year. Richo actually got quite shirty with him last year. I find it really disrespectful and cant stand listening. Shame cos I actually like to hear what Richo has to say. He does have something to offer, unlike BT who tells us that Jack comes from Lorne everytime we playdegruch wrote:Without a doubt, the worst commentary team (beside Richo) of all time. BT was a buffoon who benefitted from a great midfield in his day, what's he doing having a go at Richo's tactical gameplay analysis? It took him 25 minutes to realise we'd slowly been strangling the life out of the Suns.
Anyways, Maister looking great, Hickey promising, Roberton, Geary and Siposs doing a great job down back...if we can nail this one, it'll be a great build up.

Ill say it again, leadership suits jarryn and dave...bodes well.
Quote from 7 commentators went something like; younger blokes like Steven, Armitage and Geary - quality players!!
Great to see the next generation of Saints stars and perhaps future captains are now also looking to be the leading possession gatherers and most influential players on the list. These guys are hungry to play finals!! This new bunch (Gears/Armo/Siposs/Newnes/Saad/Hickey/Stanley/Milera/Macca) have to have huge years if we are going to make it.

Perfect low pass from Gilbert to roo. Misses but it was a tough chance.

Saad and Gilbert combine well results in a shot at goal for milera.
Got it. Handy goal to put the buffer back out to 16.
Been an intriguing contest tonight. I know we're no world beaters but Gold Coast look like they have improved a lot so far this year.

I really hope it is wet because we look ordinary with our fumbles.

Comedy in the middle from both sides. First from the Gold Coast defender hall, then from the st Kilda defender in blake. Results eventually in a Gold Coast goal.
Nine points the difference. 54-45
