Lee or White
Who will play more this year, Lee or White. The assumption is Lee but I have heard White loves the contest and the club feels he is ready to go at AFL level.
Anyone have a feel on where they are both at?
I would also assume they ar competing for the same spot and that both wont play in the same eam in 2013.

Re: Lee or White
I doubt we may even see White in saints colours at all this year so Lee for me and by some distance.

Re: Lee or White
Well White was never a really serious option to play seniors this year.
Lee is a future key forward who is older and so should see some senior games this year.
it is basically the same question as say Hickey vs Pierce.

Has White even played yet? Are you sure you're not thinking of Wright?andrewg wrote:I have heard White loves the contest and the club feels he is ready to go at AFL level.

Re: Lee or White
Really impressed with Lee yesterday. After all the bagging he has received here. He looked dangerous every time the ball came forward. He was willing to mix it up with Lynden Dunn. His got better as the game went on and took 7 or 8 marks for the game (mostly in the forward 50). His kicking was off but I wouldn't be surprised if his ball drop was thrown by the big cast on his arm. Out positioned Frawley quite easily to mark in the last quarter.

Re: Lee or White
Lee by miles. Noone has even seen White play and that includes Saints coaches . I think N Wright looks ready for AFL and Lee is getting close. Wright might play 8 games as will Lee but Id say zero for Spencer at this stage.

And though he might not be ready to play much this season, Buddy White could well be the best of the lot..., and no,
I/we are not forgetting about Sippa and Rhys Lightning.
Suffer Skanks. He was yours to grap, but you went for the ego Ted Bundy... maybe so that Buckley's would have someone to relate to(?)

Next question, Dempster or Webster? Who will play more this year?
I would love to see Webster get a Premiership medallion from Craig Willis.

Re: Lee or White
According to my considered calculations (Guessing) Lee could play anything up to 10-12 games in 2013 (in competition with Kosi and others). White has struggled with a wrist injury in his FIRST AFL pre-season and probably won't be ready in 2013. Having said that, Whites highlight reel is bloody impressive against boys. If he can put together a similar reel against men over the next 3-4 years we'll have a beauty !!
NEW scarf signature (hopefully with correct spelling) will be here as soon as it arrives !!

Re: Lee or White
Given White had wrist surgery I assume he hasnt been able to do any bench press etc so he has to be miles back. Really dont expect to see him at all until 2014. I think 2013 they will ease him into the rigours of AFL training. I think he only played like 10 games last year at TAC level?
Im pretty sure the OP got wright mixed up with white when someone from the club said he was ready for afl now.

Also it would be great to have a chat on here without a personal attack plugger. Any chance of you stop being a pain in the arse
It was a joke for Dr Spaceman. He said you may be thinking of Wright and I said was he wrong. Surely got it was a joke.
