Bucks is looking safe for the moment.
BUT
the other great day - the one at Bummerland may now be sooner rather than later.
Fishlips and his Pretty-boy ventriloquist dummy may be lining up soon to walk the plank.

I thought on of the great days would be a StKilda Premiership. Wrong again.

Sometimes it feels like some fans get greater joy from seeing other teams fail, then seeing their team succeed.

It seems that way and it seems that schadenfreude is a perfectly normal. Different strokes.Superstar wrote:borderbarry wrote:I thought on of the great days would be a StKilda Premiership. Wrong again.

It looks like their club is going down in a big way way. I'd hate for this to happen to our club and I hope the right mongrels responsible for this get banned for life.
It's goning to make what happened to us a couple of years ago look like a picnic.

Yes, unreal. What can I say. I'm glad it's not us. Been sucking on West End again?

When you've been waiting for 47 years you have to make your own entertainment.Superstar wrote:borderbarry wrote:I thought on of the great days would be a StKilda Premiership. Wrong again.

Yes I enjoy a Carlton loss as much as a StKilda win.

Sorry but i dont get this at all. I Saints win is all that matters. Only if a loss by another side effects our club do I care. I honestly think worrying about other clubs in a loser mentality.

At last the first moment approaches.
The first of those two great days is almost upon us.
Botox-boy will have to go.
Hopefully he will go out kicking and screaming and full off self denial.

Re: Two GREAT days are slowly approaching
Throw in Ross not making top 4 and being moved on by the dockers while Port win the GF and the swans fail another year after being cheating scum then yes 2015 will be amazing.Enrico_Misso wrote:I've speculated about the potential of these great events before.
But I am now confident that the optimistic hopes are slowly taking root.
Season 2012 proved that
- the "DreamTeam" of the Golden Haired Boy and Fishlips bombed under pressure,
- and FIGJAM has overseen a major form slump to key players that his coaching couldn't address
It won't happen next year.
But maybe in 2014/15 we will have the IMMENSE pleasure of seeing
- Essendon turn on their golden haired sun, the stockbroker, the engineer behind Docklands, the man you revolutionised the Davis Cup, the untouchable etc. etc.
AND / OR
- the ULTIMATE, Eddie announcing with moist eyes that he is sacking his protégé, his man-love interest, the chosen one whose path he anointed.
What great days they will be!
Which one of these red letter days will come first?
I don't know.
But I do know that these momentous events are slowly getting closer.
And I'm starting to get slightly excited.
Re: Two GREAT days are slowly approaching
Seriously those do goodes on here...seriously...it's al theatre. If we didn't care about the other clubs then beating them or being the best wouldn't matter. Winning a premiership wouldn't matter. That's the point, sweet isn't as sweet without the bitter. In the end, everyone loves a good villain.
