Hell, we could move past Brisbane for premierships all in one go!

Yeah they ban every other club bar Saints and Gold Coast.Con Gorozidis wrote:Hopefully we are the AFLs Cadel Evans - and after years of near misses and being cheated we get there!
But great analogy with RB. She was shafted!
We lose to Gold coast in the GF.
Sounds like a good time

see i thought this too
with the connection that essendon now have because of certain people coming across from the cats
but nothings been said
i guess sometime this week any club that is under investigation will be told by the afl and nrl
as will the single player they have also mentioned
i wonder if they suspect another club but dont have 100% proof yet?

Apologies for dragging up an older thread but this has been sticking in my guts...joffaboy wrote:Considering the two clubs we got Silver to in 2009 and 2010 are now under a serious cloud involving Thompson and The Weapon with one and serious WADA target testing of the other, will it come to pass that the Saints have been dudded as per Boyle?
If the cats are found (or Dank is found) to have cheated to improve player performance then I’m going to be extremely upset. The way that team exploded away from us – size- wise - around 2004 now looks pretty suspicious.
And it’s not just the premiership. After the disappointment dissipated a little I found a grudging respect for the cats players like Chapman and Bartel who, despite everything that was thrown at them and being behind most of the day, dragged themselves to the finish line in what was an epic battle.
If we lost a flag and I have been duped into respecting cheats then... well, I don’t know...

How do you work that out. Only one club is the target for investigation and that is Essendon and a player form another club is also a target. Im pretty sure one player doesnt make the club a target. The only know drug cheat is Justin Charles and the Tigers werent a target for investigation over him.
