St.Kilda - the AFL's Raelene Boyle
We all kow that Raelene Boyle was cheated out of Two gold medals at the 1972 Olympics by Renate Stecher who was choc to the eyeballs on performance enhancing drugs.
Considering the two clubs we got Silver to in 2009 and 2010 are now under a serious cloud involving Thompson and The Weapon with one and serious WADA target testing of the other, will it come to pass that the Saints have been dudded as per Boyle?
It certainly wont change the fact we have no flags, as even if both team were found to be choc a block full of illegal substances the runner up wouldn't get the flag. And really who would want it, you would want to win it fair and square not as an afterthough because the winner was cheating.
Will just be a shame if all this comes to pass and we, as Saints supporters have been completely dudded by systematic drug cheating.
Please no jokes about breast cancer.

Lance or James??
There comes a point in every man's life when he has to say, "Enough is enough." For me, that time is now. I have been dealing with claims that I cheated and had an unfair advantage in <redacted>. Over the past three years, I have been subjected to a <redacted>investigation followed by <redacted> witch hunt. The toll this has taken on my family, and my work for <redacted>and on me leads me to where I am today – finished with this nonsense. (Oops just got a spontaneous errection <unredacted>)

Hopefully we are the AFLs Cadel Evans - and after years of near misses and being cheated we get there!
But great analogy with RB. She was shafted!

the major assumption being Saints & Cadel have never "crossed the line"Con Gorozidis wrote:Hopefully we are the AFLs Cadel Evans - and after years of near misses and being cheated we get there!

Be careful eating pies.
One leading brand in Adelaide that are available at a national supermarket chain, call them "Meat Pies".
When I decided to try one from a four pack, the pastry and gravy was there.
But there was no, or very little meat.
I put one in the backyard for the birds to eat.
The only birds to eat it were the resident magpies.
Heckle and Jeckle
I am not sure whether I should have named them.

I think Bob Keddie's last qtr in the 71 GF should now be queried.

Essendon must have been on the juice in '65!

If we had cheated we would have got caught.BigMart wrote:How do you know we are squeaky clean??

Yep, any non-Essendon supporter crowing about this could easily be on pretty shaky ground in coming weeks and months. Pretty unlikely that it will be only one club involved in the final washup.BigMart wrote:How do you know we are squeaky clean??

And don't forget that 1913 Fitzroy team. They were definitely on drugs. Especially the coach Percy (Polly want crack) Parratt. And of course the selectors were on drugs. They picked Chuck Norris and George Bernard Shaw in the same team.

Richmond played like they were all having withdrawal symptoms tonight.

I just thought why only go back to '65. Google and Wikipedia made the rest easy.st.byron wrote:kosifantutti wrote:And don't forget that 1913 Fitzroy team. They were definitely on drugs.
