Re: Where is everyone staying in Wellington?? Recommendation
apparently the town centre is only about a 10 minute walk from the stadium
there is a Stadium shuttle after games which stops at varous points around the city centre. (small fee)
and there are numerous hotels in town although none ultra close to the stadium.
one link I found useful for gaining local information and they are willing to make bookings also

Re: Where is everyone staying in Wellington?? Recommendation
I'm still trying to decide if I am going to go or not.
I want to, but I would be going across as a solo traveler so am a little hesitant. I have put together a little plan that will see me go to Auckland on Sunday 21st and travel down to Wellington on Wed 24th and fly home Friday 26th.

I booked last week and can tell you that accommodation is getting hard to find for the 24th and 25th. Although I did book for 4 people. Also our sale price for flights through Qantas has now gone. You should decide soon.
