Cant believe Grams career is over at 28.
He must have done some bad stuff. Because he would walk into many clubs 22 (the bottom 6 clubs anyway) . Best 'baulk' in the AFL.

He has. Used goods now unfortunately. Another wasted talent. Quality player when his mind was right.Con Gorozidis wrote:Cant believe Grams career is over at 28.

Re: Will Gram get picked up? !!
His twitter bio states : "stkilda footballer who will play in the nba when i finish footy"
He apparently was a decent basketballer. Hardly plausible but that is his vision although I strongly suspect is just a dream especially the NBA of all competitions. Someone on these forums may have more knowledge of his basketball prowess.[/quote]
He has the most superb hand-eye ball sense. If you watch him play, closely, (well, not much opportunity for that now) you can see he has the ball on an incredible string. This, and a few other skills made him a valuable footballer. The fact that he never marked a ball over his head, rarely tackled, etc etc, probably testifies to just how good the skills he actually did have were.
It always did seem to me that he had basketball skills.
[Why didn't this come up with the usual quotation boxes?]

Aker as coach and mentor - what a frightening thought.Snakeman66 wrote:Has signed with North Albury in the O & M who will be coached by Aker.

I'm glad he's gone...no more helicopters into the forward line, making the forwards look worse than they are....Con Gorozidis wrote:Cant believe Grams career is over at 28.

You would think that someone who was desperate to return to AFL football would be smart enough not to say this to the newspaper, considering he has an alleged problem with 'substances'… fair dinkum.

Unfortunately it is neither rocket surgery nor brain science, it is football. Gram was employed because he is good at football, not for his intellect.dragit wrote:"Hopefully I'll get to spend some time up there, meet the locals and enjoy a few beers with the boys after the game."saintbrat wrote:http://www.couriermail.com.au/sport/afl ... 6558933887

Re: Will Gram get picked up? !!
If he wanted to continue AFL hed be playing in the VFL or SANFL or WAFL.
The fact he signed for NA shows hes given up on the idea completely already.
