As soon as they are injury free…plugger66 wrote:When has Nick maxwell not been in the pies best 22?
Goldsack Brown Obrien
Shaw Reid ?
Johnson/Young/Russell/Clarke/Toovey/Maxwell all fighting for one spot.

And I thought Maxwell came 5th in the clubs B&F last year and was AA about 3 years ago. He certainly has goldsack covered especially since Goldsack played forward all last year.

Very fortunate to have been given AA ahead of Goddard (bench) and even Gilbert that year… probably plenty of others too.plugger66 wrote:dragit wrote:As soon as they are injury free…plugger66 wrote:When has Nick maxwell not been in the pies best 22?

Anyways I think he is pretty average, you obviously love him, we've done this before.

Dont love him, dont like him, dont know him. Just pointing to facts that show that he can play much better than people think.
Re: New player numbers - Nearest to the pin
Don't like him, but he is easily in the Pies best 22...reckon he's good at the 1%ers and demanding more of his defensive team mates.

Interesting that in the photo Roberton looks comparable in size to White, including in the shoulders. Maybe just a trick of the light though.

Do it proud Nath, and one day the legendary number 2 can also be yours.Nathan Wright – 34.
St Kilda’s first draft pick from 2012 inherits a number that has largely gone under the radar throughout the Saints’ 140-year history. Jayson Daniels wore it for 115 games in two stints either side of a brief time at the Sydney Swans, while legendary figure David McNamara wore it for one season. In recent times, Jack Steven wore the number in his debut match in 2009 before moving to the no. 3, while former Tigers Adam Pattison and Dean Polo have also worn it.

So that seals Trent Dennis Lane's position as the new whipping boy.

Still got the cold? AA and 5th in their B&F last year but doesnt deserve a game. Those 4 above him must be good if they can play on their own.

The players' list on the Saints web site shows TDL as # 38 however the article mentioned # 8. I'm assuming # 38 was a mis-key.bergholt wrote:No-one posted the actual numbers?
