First commiserations to the young fella Markworth, i'm hoping the reality of whatever injury he may have is short term.
Congrats to the players @ Red Rock for their commitment to getting the most out of the high altitude opportunity. They got a big well done from the running coach apparently.
It's been great to hear how enthusiastic and appreciative the players have been.
I hope the Saints have found the type of pre-season training venue we have been looking for over the last few years now. The NZ tour was a disappointment for me but getting away to Colorado seems to have ticked a lot of boxes atm.
It sounds like the coaching staff have already felt the positives gained demand a return trip at the end of 2013. I can see the players returning to Melbourne fresher and more positive than if they'de gone elsewhere. I know that other teams are remaining within Australia (hawks and demons etc) but if it comes to pass that Colorado in the early winter is good for the Saints then i'm all for it.
