Should we kill all sharks and crocs? What about motorbikes, chainsaws, and heavy metal music? How far will you go to stop the needless death and suffering?
Maybe if you looked past the headlines and looked at the global picture, not just the parts that become cases for other people to sort out, you'd have a bit more of an idea of how bad drugs are.
Sorry for the troubles you've seen, but your opinion is an emotional over-reaction.
Crocodile attack deaths: In Australia approximately 1 per year
MDMA related deaths: In Australia 10-15 per year
Just saying that you probably should go with different examples. I would stick with alcohol, cigarettes and junk food.

Is Fisher good enough to go pro at golf when he retires?
Does anyone know if he will have a crack in 2014 or 15 when his contract ends?

He would need to improve about 6 shots a round on average.

I'm not arguing with you. You're too stupid to realise that. And to answer your question emphatically, it is you that is the idiot. What you just wrote condemns you with your own keyboard. Keep posting, it's hilarious. Laughing at you, not with you.plugger66 wrote:matrix wrote:no plugger

Maybe you should read what I wrote. I know it is hard for you but you are agreeing with me. They have schools in SA dont they?
You said everyone reacts differently and I said some people dont get addicted to ice but many do. That is all I said. Sounds similar to how you think but you probably didnt even read what I said just read what WW said. Now that is man who says he only took a few posts to work out I am an idiot and he also said he doesnt argue with idiots but still continues to do so after 29000 posts. He also said he wouldnt argue with me again but I notice he has since started again. I again ask who is the idiot. Is it the person who says he wont argue with me anymore but still does and is it it the person who says he worked out I was an idiot after a few posts but again is still arguing after 29000.
Or is it me who said some dont get addicted to ice but many do.
I started with nothing and I've got most of it left!

Now nearly 30000 posts and still fighting with me even though you said you wouldnt argue with an idiot. It is quite clear you are the idiot. said it took only a few posts to realise i was an idiot and you also said you dont argue with idiots but 30000 posts later by me and you are still doing it.
The stupid thing is all this started because I said some dont get hooked on ice but many do. You still havent told what is wrong with saying that. I think it confirms your status as an idiot. I expect more comebacks even though you dont argue with idiots. I take it you have no mirrors at your house?

Posting from a phone, but I will give it a go (tried to log in on work computer but it has a permanent ban based on it's IP. I wonder if I work with a closet troll or something)Austinnn wrote: Hi Merchant, could you post a link to those stats please? Thx
Shark info: http://www.taronga.org.au/animals-conse ... st-figures
Obviously there has been a recent surge in attacks in WA, but the 1 per year stat was based on the 50 fatalities in the last 50 years.
Crocodile attack info is much harder to come across. There is an article in the smh from 2009 which was written after a surge in croc attacks that year. Http://www.smh.com.au/national/recent-c ... -a3b2.html
Crocodile deaths are far more common in Africa, Asia and south America though.
MDMA figures can be found in a paper published in 2009. http://scientopia.org/blogs/drugmonkey/ ... 2001-2005/
As for Sam Fisher, I think his biggest addiction is likely to be golf.
If at first you don't succeed, sky diving is not for you.
Re: Sam Fisher off field issues?
Wouldn't you have to base a measure of "deadliness" on something like number of deaths / number of exposures? Not may people are exposed to crocs but those who are have a fairly high fatality rate. On the other side, a lot of people are exposed to MDMA every week and the overwhelming majority of them don't die (or get addicted).The_Merchant wrote:MDMA figures can be found in a paper published in 2009.

. Ecstasy, on the other hand, causes almost no harm to society and scored very low on the harm done to the user, coming in at 17th overall. Cannabis (legalised in two US states last month) came in eighth."[/i]

i don't believe your stats for one second.......most drug overdoses are never reported in the press.....including those where a death occurs....

For what it is worth, a friend knows the neighbour of Sam Fisher who said it is a real 'party house' with lots of drinking going on (including during the season) but usually early in the week (ie. not close to game day).

Re: Sam Fisher off field issues?
does Sam fisher live in Port Melbourne?
there is a small article in Inside football where it states that a former (one that has been recently sacked) player living in Port melbourne is still living with a current player and the club has major concerns about.
