Well done St Kilda.
It is "pleasing"..........It would be sweeter if we can sign a few hundred international members ....I wonder if there a membership team in action....

Day 5 come and gone
Ahmed's take
http://www.saints.com.au/news/newsartic ... fault.aspx
I’ve been looking forward to this game for a while now.

I’m rooming with Leigh Montagna and for the first few days when our body clocks were adjusting to American time we would both tend to wake up at around 3am.

So we’d turn the TV on and have what we called our late-night picnics. Soon enough conversation would always turn to the game we were going to attend

God there was a poor crowd there, it is very unusual to see an NFL Stadium that empty.
You'd think they we're playing GWS or Port.
But, good to see the boys enjoying themselves.

considering it appears so empty- remembering those photos are taken well beforee game time
some tweeted by the boys shows their seats were up with the gods- so last minute tickets must have been the back rows

Great footage. Great team building for us. Also shows our guys some serious athletes!
Imagine one of those guys running at you at 10m/s with a helmet.
Good luck with the tackle.

Full house every game at Mile High Stadium, watched it live this morning, didn't see any Saints, only Broncos and Buccaneers.

Not sure how any of this NFL shite is going to help the team when they run out for round 1 next year...

It must be all about bonding and team spirit, i doubt any of the stuff they are writing about re their overseas adventure will improve them skill wise....

When you're on a junket you have to enjoy it, and it sounds like they are...good on em....

Luckily they will get back early enough to do a more relevant , more beneficial to AFL footy, pre season.....

How many defenders will The Saints pick in the 2024 draft ?

In Springfield, they're eating the dogs. The people that came in, they're eating the cats. They’re eating – they are eating the pets of the people that live there.

Think the whole thing is brilliant. Great opportunity to build team spirit and unity. Integrates the new guys quickly in a shared experience, and puts pride in the playing group.

Love the media work. Excellent!

Clearly it's a junket. No doubt there and that fact isn't been hidden, so no probs there.

If they wanted high altitude training, thy could've jut taken a 3 hour bus ride to Mt Buller and ran up and down a few runs!

I don't know mmyself exactly but i did notice the coach of north defending their decision to take their team over to Utah i think it is for the 3rd. year in a row. He maintains the gains are definately more than just bonding and if it wasn't so they'de be just going to Torquey instead.
Like yourself i hope the Saints register a big gain - i'll be reserving my own view to later next year.

The boy can play and we can build a defence around him that will have respect.
