That's a lot of water, those plane trips can be very dehydrating.

Surf Life Saving legend Trevor Hendy will take up the role of High Performance Ambassador at St Kilda’s high altitude training camp in Boulder, Colorado.

Known to most as the greatest ironman in the world, Hendy will accompany the team for an intensive 16 days of elite performance training and provide crucial input as someone from outside the AFL perspective.

“I will help out where I can with advice on how to get the best out of themselves in a team situation. While everybody will have their head around what they need to achieve and how to do it, it always helps to have somebody come from a different angle and that’s basically where I come in,” Hendy told saints.com.au.

“I’ll have a look from the outside and have a different slant or viewpoint on the training and the teamwork side of things, so I suppose I’ll be a bit of Scott’s wingman as well,” Hendy told saints.com.au.

Hendy, an established life coach, mentor and author, competed in surf lifesaving championships this year at the age of 43.
Throughout his illustrious athletic career and within his field of Personal Truth and Wellness, Hendy has always maintained the secret of leading a successful life is stripping back the basics, and loving what you do.

30 hours! Shouldn't take anywhere near that long to get the US...what route are they taking? Via Siberia?

Thats true, but I have gone from Melbourne to LA on to Boston, which is coast to coast, in less time.

Sounds cold in Feb Hurricane, have you been there during the warmer monthes?
I've ruled out the possibility that you are doing the P.C.T. (Pacific Crest Trail from Mexico to Canada). Way too much snow that time of year.

Have a good trip.

LOL, yeah 30 hours is a bit of a stretch unless they wanted to fly to America, back to Australia & then back to America for the hell of it?

That makes more sense, Orlando is on the east coast, its basically 15 hours to LA then probs a 5-6 hour flight to Orlando. I'm gussing you probs have a layover of say 6-7 hours in LA?

maybe have to arrive in melbourne two hours before the trip...LA customs could take 2 to 3 hours to clear....then have to waite for colorado flight.....all takes time....

This. LA customs is the worst. One time going through LA I stood in a queue in the LA Customs hall and the queue moved 6 feet in about half an hour. The airline kept re-booking me a new conenction to Houston (the flight from Melbourne was late) and I missed 3 different connections because of the time it took to clear LA customs.

At least if Captain Trips hits now, the Saints will already be in the Boulder Free zone, and won't have to travel across the US to get there.

If they send Milney to Vegas with Stu, Larry, Glen and the farmer guy who's name I can't recall, then Randall Flagg will be annoyed out of town, thus avoiding the nuclear bomb finale thanks to the Trashcan Man...
