Let's not forget that Dwayne Russell on 3AW got Caro to admit that she knew the TRUTH re the Duthie story but chose to keep writing the Duthie LIES for several months. This exchange was quicky squashed by 3AW management/producers after it got more than a little heated !!
NEW scarf signature (hopefully with correct spelling) will be here as soon as it arrives !!

Complete guess and probably entirely wrong, however it would fit.

They are a perfect sample of our community except that they get paid out of all proportion to the rest of the community.
This means they have the power to overindulge so much more.

WW it's possible that we also have mutual friends and I can tell you that Caro has probably had to perform many baggings to keep up with the boys in her profession.White Winmar wrote:I have been subjected to the unfortunate situation in which I share mutual friends with Wilson. If she wasn't Ian wilson's little girl, I doubt we'd ever heard of her.
Just one last bit of advice for her. If you're going to set yourself up as a paragon of virtue, don't race into your office and boast about just having "bagged" Seve Ballesteros. That's no rumour, caro, that's a fact and one your colleagues have been dining out on behind your back for years. My "thourthes" on this are impeccable, unlike yours.

I actually agree with you for once. Grammy appears to have a severe drinking problem. They live together, but most blokes are attracted to other blokes of similar characteristics. Sweeping generalisation I know, but my tip is that they have quietly told him to pull his head in and back off on the late nights now that training has recommenced. Like Caro said, nothing illegal, just want him to set a better example to the younger boys.ace wrote:He is a footballer.#1GILL wrote:Could potentially have a gambling addiction?

I hope your experiences with her have been more positive than mine, Cairnsman. My point about her is that she often takes the high moral ground, when she is less than virtuous in her own behaviour. Just because there are a fair few a$$holes in her industry, both male and female, doesn't excuse her behaviour. What I find particularly galling is she doesn't really care who she might destroy, as long as there's a by-line in it.

Anyways...
If he is removed from the leadership group, and deserved it, well good.
Another step towards the club strengthening it's standard of behaviour.
I won't use the culture word, because the concept of good culture at a football club is what my son refers to as 'make-a-leave'

Re: Sam Fisher off field issues?
Our perceived "culture problem" has as much relevance as The Collywobbles and the half-wits that resort to mentioning it know it full well: it's like us with the tired old Collingwood supporter stereotypes: too easy. Back your club and don't be so thin skinned. The last thing we want to be as a club, as a group of supporters, is the equivalent of a person with "short man syndrome", always trying to justify ourselves in the face of other people's pre-conceptions.8856brother wrote:Just like clockwork a new OP on BF has started about our "culture" issues. So sick of being put down, and kicked in the guts, by all and sundry again regardless of whether there is anything to this story or not. The masses will be drouling over yet another opportunity to smash our "poor culture". Other clubs supporters view us as a laughing stock. I know because I'm forced to defend us on what seems like a weekly basis.
Will it ever stop? Will we ever be taken seriously?
If our club continues to make to make decisions based on countering this out-dated preconception, then the terrorists have won. However, I'd rather the club did take all steps to make sure this culture thing isn't a problem for us going forward.
Even including Gram, KD-gate and all the other recent controversy, we have no more than the average amount of trouble at the club, supporters of other clubs can deny it, but it's true and they know it and so do you. Laugh it off, and trust the club to deal with it. If they don't, we'll make sure the people that replace them have a mandate to do so.

Not surprising that I've never heard Ballesteros bragging that he bagged Caro....
I wonder what club he used to get that hole in one....

If there is nothing in it I hope Sammy sues her for slander.
Then Sammy might be able to add a free extension to his house like another veteran StKilda player did when he put another gutter journalist to the sword.

Typical Saintsational response. If you don't like the message shoot the messenger.
The reason why so many stories like this are written about the Saints is because we give them so many opportunities.

Re: Sam Fisher off field issues?
I am not a caro fan and she does have it in for the Saints. She is also a massive hypocrite and a rubbish person.
BUT
she does have very good sources and somehow (I dont know why) she finds stuff out directly from clubs. It is a mystery to me how she does it but she does do it.
So Im tipping she has something legit and the story is based on truth.

And I guess some people have never heard of innocent until proven guilty. Some people are already stringing up a guy based on an article with no detail and written by a person who has been wrong many times.
There very well be some truth in what she writes but that is not the point at all.

Whilst there have been some over the top responses would you expect the same if she actually wrote a story?

Re: Sam Fisher off field issues?
Media always brings up our 'bad culture'. All clubs have alot of young men doing very stupid and naughty things. Not just us.
Hawks & Pies have quite a few young men being naughty ( very naughty), but if you win a flag all of a sudden the bad culture is fine.
The papers will always keep banging on and on about our so called bad culture untill we win a premiership.
So untill then Caro and her Saint bashing will continue.

Re: Sam Fisher off field issues?
Sam was a bit of a big drinker in the past and wouldn't surprise me if he still get on the drink too heavily. Cheeky article when it suggests a problem with plenty of innuendo and no substantive claim as to what he has done. It is a little mean spirited in the light of recent off field issues to suggest controversy which will be blown up in peoples minds because of the timing. He could go out too much but by not saying what his issues are it is left to the public to think the worst. She should work in politics that's the way you bring people down- attach little nemes that don't really suggest anything just defame people with out getting you sued.

Direct observation of her behaviour, personally and by those with extensive knowledge of her through having worked with her for nigh on three decades. The Seve bit came from her own mouth. Brace for sarcastic, nonsensical, error ridden, baseless, hypocritical retort.plugger66 wrote:SaintPav wrote:And I guess some people have never heard of innocent until proven guilty.
