Spencer White
Anyone know if he is from Melbourne High??
If so, he can play a bit, fair bit actually..... He was largely responsible for a 100 point hiding I witnessed my students get in Senior boys footy last year.... He must have been only in Y11 also....
Could be spectacular
Could be Wayde Skipper
But from what I saw.... He was in a league of his own in school footy, and amongst the best I have seen.

Hope he's better than Clurey or either of the Masons.

Re: Spencer White
He isn't as tall as his highlight reel makes him look, i thought he was Stanley sized more like rooey sized. He can play just some very highly rated players were still there and he will be measured against them.
Re: Spencer White
Was at least 6'4 in 2011
Very quick, very agile, big leap.......
So was Jarred Grant....... But so is Rhys Stanley

I just watched Lennys highlights video. He looked like Sam Cranage.
Re: Spencer White
This... With Fisher @ 31 years of age Clurey made so much sense and has so much potential. I reckon we gambled thinking Close or similar would be there at 40. Strange that we have recruited Lee, Hickey & White who are all over 195 forwards (or in Hickeys case fwd/ruck)... Not sure how Stanley, Roo and Kosi fit in?8856brother wrote:Hope he's better than Clurey or either of the Masons.

There have been plenty of players who have been recruited and not played in the position they originally played in.
You might find that one them has been earmarked to play down back ...... be happy if one turns into a Dustin Fletcher.

Re: Spencer White
Whist we are pumping him up with everyone saying he is "Buddy Like" I see a lot of Fraser Gehrig's attributes in his highlight reel !!
NEW scarf signature (hopefully with correct spelling) will be here as soon as it arrives !!

Re: Spencer White
His highlights look really good and I hope he can be a good player for us but what were they thinking? ANOTHER key forward? With Tanner Smith still there? My guess is we thought he or a different key back would slip to 40 which is why we took so damn long
I hope someone else on the list can be groomed as a key back or we are up a particular creek without a paddling implement

Re: Spencer White
First thought was definitely Buddy Franklin when I watched the highlights; only difference I can see is that Spencer White looks like he can take a decent grab. I'm excited!!!

Re: Spencer White
It's amazing how he never drops a mark or misses any shots at goal. Did the highlights leave anything out?
