I'm sure it will be resurrected elsewhere. IMHO it was far more entertaining and interesting than many of the so-called "mainstream" footy shows.

don't change it , It is obviously done cheaply , so leave it alone . if they over produce it they'll only F it up !

The Marngrook Footy Show was the only show I watched on the tired old Auntie ABC. I found it to be as refreshing as the Footy Show was when it first started. As a Sainter, I particularly loved Gilly hosting the show, along with the friendly banter between him and Ronnie Burns. I also found the guest appearances of former, and more recently present players, enjoyable as they were given the courtesy of being allowed to have more to say than those guests on the other well know Footy Show. I can only hope that a Network picks up this wonderful program and allows it to continue in it's present format.

Why would channel 7 want a poor rating show on their channel. I never watch the show and neither do enough other people. That was the problem.

The problem is not enough people watch it to justify the cost of production.
Remember, sadly it is always more expensive to produce your own content than it is to purchase from overseas.
