SEN ultimate footballer

Post: # 1283048Post St Ick »

SEN are creating an ultimate footballer at the moment by choosing the best players due to certain qualities such as Head, Heart, Torso, Hands and Feet.

So far they've come up with the following;

Head- G Williams
Heart - Lenny
Torso - Ablett Snr
Hands - Buckets

Good to see two Sainters are featured which I couldn't agree more with despite the irony that Lennys heart was selected despite it giving him issues!!

Thought it may be a bit of fun in the off season to see who we come up with.

I'd be picking someone without heart defects

Yeah, despite that choice being 100% accurate and deserved, the irony is delicious.

And when we're finished with this, let's see how we go with the Ultimate Spud Footballer.

Now that would be a hoot :D

The ultimate SAINTS footballer..

Head: Baldock
Heart: Hayes
Torso: Harvey
Hands: Loewe
Feet: Lockett

Just goes to show we have had some extraordinarily talented footballers play for us over the years.

I would happily put that 'player' up against any other team's ultimate footballer in a 1-on-1 contest.

Having met Stewie through mates years ago I can vouch for his hands on size alone. I could have marked everything in front of me if I had hands like washing baskets, he was a malformed Teutonic freak. Lucky for us.

When he drank a pot his fingers used to touch his thumb when wrapped around the top! Huge mitts....

Probably Sam Mitchell out of current day players unless they go a long kick like Graham, or Fletcher. I'd be happy with Harvs but distance in his kicking would hold him back from being the best.

Darren jarmen will surely get that spot because he also kicked goals as well as brilliant around the ground.

Feet could be Nathan Buckley - he was pretty much the best kick of both distance and accuracy I can remember.
