And maybe a response to some of the other suggestions mentioned in an earlier post. E.g not having to login all the time just to check posts. Or adding the forum to Tapatalk so that people with smartphones and tablets can easily post in the forum.

In light of people discussing the reduced volume of threads/posts of late, I think this is precisely the type of proactive measure that would see a turnaround in this regard. In fact, if this site was more accessible via smart phones, I think usage would increase substantially.

Agreed, there's certainly no need for that bulls*** tapatalk app. You go to the site in your web browser and then click on things, just like you do on your computer.

The login thing is pretty annoying though - I have to login afresh every time.

Yeah mine's not too bad. Sometimes have to log in a couple of times over a period of a few days then it's fine for weeks.

Yep, the forum is unreadable in it's current format if you have a small screen (at least on my phone).

And as well as a like button, I think a dislike button would be VERY popular.

The login thing is pretty annoying though - I have to login afresh every time.

I was using one of the largest screens on the smartphone market and I hated going into the forum using my phone. Not only is the format not compatible (like other forums who have updated theirs to allow mobile browsing) which means that you have to pinch to zoom in and out all the time, but the login never saves so I have to keep logging in and out. Tapatalk saves your login username and password, gives you an easy interface to access all your forums and would improve the user experience of this forum especially in our new age world of technology.

I think there is reasonable discussion here and constructive suggestions with the ultimate aim being the long-term success of the forum.

I would have a much higher post-rate if it was more accessible on my iPhone.
