even with its increased capacity , Saints supporters will be hard pressed getting a ticket .

And at no extra cost, a bonus
Re: 2013 Saints Fixture
This is pretty much the only thing that really bugged me about this fixture. Playing Geelong in Geelong. We pull pretty good crowds and they expect Saints supporters to fit in to the stadium at Geelong? Really, really bugs me.......mr six o'clock wrote:The game against the cats at geelong !

As for the expected slide in our performance, I don't think so. Time will tell I suppose.....

Round 17 first day game in Melbourne.
Stinks.
7 interstate games plus Geelong is crap also.
And two home games at the G is no good either.
4 Sunday Twlight sucks also.
Not happy jan.

Re: 2013 Saints Fixture
We play Freo twice, not the Cats.
Best fixture I can remember since the interstaters came in. Pity we don't have a decent team.

8 twilight games (have the lowest crowd support) the most out of any club with four on Sun.
About time the club came out and had an official complaint about it.
Why aren t they spread amongst all the lower clubs if they dont want to offend the rich clubs.

Re: 2013 Saints Fixture
The upside seems to be that the games against this year's better teams are almost all at Etihad (whether home or away). Crap for the $$$, but at least a better chance of a win. And only one in Perth. But I agree 100% with 70s sainter about the damned twilight games ...

And hardly any day games.
Clearly families with you kids is not a priority for our club yet again.

Re: 2013 Saints Fixture
There will always be something to complain about with such a fixture, but as far as I can see this is a very decent draw with very little to complain about..
I'm happy...

half a dozen twilight games means you can get the kids home early.
better still leave the kids with your wife or get a baby sitter.
Lance or James??

Yeah, it is a night game as well. It'll be the first time we'll make a road trip down to Sleepy Hollow since 2004.mr six o'clock wrote:The game against the cats at geelong !

Have missed our clashes with them down there. Although, it was always a long trip back home if we lost to them, which was the case on many occaisions. Mind you, if you're catching the train back and we win, it's like a party atmosphere in the train carriages.
The availability of tickets will be interesting. I guess it may also depend on how well both teams have progressed in the course of the season.

Re: 2013 Saints Fixture
2013 will be a disaster for us cant see us beating anyone with blake at full back kosi at full forward and a whole new midfield no goddard or gram.
Positive points are that we will blood a lot of new talent and 2014 will be ok

Re: 2013 Saints Fixture
Pretty happy with this.
Already looking forward to possibly making a weekend of it down in Geelong (assuming we can get tickets, which I'm fairly sure we will).
NZ was booked over a month ago now.

FFS players could end the game with frostbite .

Re: 2013 Saints Fixture
I find it funny you guys are worried about getting into Geelong , In recent time we can't even get St Kilda fans too come to away games at the MCG! so i have my Doubt's it will be a sell out. By the time of the game the ground will hold 35000 and its a sat night so the game will be live on seven.
