Re: St Kilda player in the news
he deserves a wack, but feel kinda sorry for him..
he is obviously a lil broken hearted and just didn't think.... i liked that the articles implied that there was no violent or implication of violence in any of his contact... just keeps annoying her....
as mentioned, if guilty, he deserves a kick up the pants, but sad it has to be dragged through the media....

He's not part of our next tilt - his role can provide opportunity for Dunnell/Newnes and even if their immediate output doesn't match Grans - surely we are no longer about "immediate" results given we won't be challenging for flags in the next 2-3 years.
Start the no d!ckgeads policy now with Gran - lets hope the club have a "no d!ckheads" clause in the contract and do what Richmond did to Connors and exercise it.
However can we please wait until we have some more information about what he actually did before we hang the guy. "Stalking" could simply mean he was closer in proximity to the person who had taken out the IO than he should have been. And while that is totally wrong, there is stalking and then there is stalking. And I'm not being frivolous here as I have personally had to take out a Protection Order in the last 12 months and I know it's no fun for the "victim".
I'm not making excuses I'm just saying wait till we know a little bit more about what has happened.
Be nice if he stalked the ball a bit more...

I worry that he stalks the ball too much... I'd actually like a bit more intervention from Grammy.Teflon wrote:Be nice if he stalked the ball a bit more...Dr Spaceman wrote: ...his usual words of wisdom calling the gung-ho to heel... and as usual, the Doc's called it correctly...

feel sorry for the bloke.
is it standard police procedure for the police to refuse bail when there is no history or expectation of violence?
ahh the off season when any whiff of news is a massive story!

And this is also mine:
Let the corn be all one sheaf--
And the grapes be all one vine,
Ere our children's teeth are set on edge
By bitter bread and wine.

Gram might be out the door from the StK FC, according to poster Brian Speaking on BF, whose info is normally reliable. Repeated breaches of Intervention Orders.

He's the only player on our list with a full sleeve tattoo.
I suspect there is a strong correlation between the thought processes that led to that disfigurement and the thought process he followed yesterday.

It's a lot cheaper to get 4yo with a few biros to scribble crap all over your body, then clean it off later.. And it looks exactly the same as a real tattoo!Ralphy wrote:he has his forearm tattooed A Full sleeve if from your shoulder to your wrist..Enrico_Misso wrote:He's the only player on our list with a full sleeve tattoo.

Re: St Kilda player in the news
Sacked .. according to bigfooty.... more specifically according to Brian Speaking
Re: St Kilda player in the news
Wowee, if that's true! Not sure where I would stand on that, not been a big fan of his output for a number of years but understand his upside! Not sure without having all the facts if this type of indiscretion deserves delisting, sounds more like he is hurting from a break up and struggling to deal with it! Just hope it's not an easy way out of an existing contract due to an indiscretion that is against a contract clause! I don't think that behavioural clauses should extend to personal situations, may be more of a depression type of issue!MCG-Unit wrote:Well if you believe Brian S - it's already happened and players have been advised by text message.Middo wrote:MCG-Unit wrote:Gram might be out the door from the StK FC, according to poster Brian Speaking on BF, whose info is normally reliable. Of course I may be well off and he could just be a tosser who thinks women should bow to him!

Hope this isn't a knee-jerk reaction by the club. Then again, I don't know the full details of what is supposed to have gone onSuperDuper wrote:Sacked .. according to bigfooty.... more specifically according to Brian Speaking

Re: St Kilda player in the news
Well if he was suspended by the club in September over the same issue, they probably gave him a last warning then. What a shitty way to end your footy career.

Re: St Kilda player in the news
Question... If it's true he has been sacked for this transgression and had been suspended prior for similar does that mean the Club does not have to pay his last year out ?

He was already on bail for previously breaching the order. Lovesick d**khead or just d**khead? With the sleeve, I'll go with the latter!roskilde wrote:feel sorry for the bloke.
