Turncoat Sammy and when will he turn back again?

Post: # 1279208Post The Redeemer »

I raise this point about one of our favourite recent sons in Sammy Hamill.

A few short years ago in an interview he made mention that he saw himself as more of a Carlton player and how he wished things turned out differently.

So why is he on our membership campaign?

Makes sense of that one...

He was promoting his pool company and at the time was having a bet each way but really came down to about another 60000 fans likely to pay for his services. He back now the payroll has his name on it. Aww warms the heart.

Loves being back at the club, mate of mine sees him around a bit and apparently he really rates Watters and is enjoying being part of things at St Kilda.

Wasn't his fault he was offered a ridicoulously long contract.

A great Saint player.

Yeah well I would hope that a coach at St. Kilda rates the coach and is enjoying doing his job and all.

Good to see we are concerned with the big issues. You should be on the board ;)

I agree - Hamill is with us for the job and to be involved at senior level like Ross Lyon is a career man - will drop us in a second if offered a job at the Blues - does not deserve to be in the ad.

What's the point of this thread?

He was a former captain.

In Springfield, they're eating the dogs. The people that came in, they're eating the cats. They’re eating – they are eating the pets of the people that live there.

He played about the same number of games for both clubs !
Players often remember their first more fondly .

Goddard has left us for money. I'm sure he's featured in previous marketing campaigns.

I also heard Tom Hickey say at his U14 Volleyball presentation night that he would never play for another sports club than the Broadbeach Spikers.
Why did we use a first round draft pick to bring this sleeper agent to our club?
HMac and BigMac would be a much better combination. Image the catchy Macca nicknames we could have come up with. 2020 can't come soon enough.

Doesn't deserve to be in the same train as Nathan Burke and Neil Roberts - both in a different league when it comes to St.Kilda people May as well throw Jezza in there - he was our captain Coach!
