I think we need to take into account that after next season we will most likely be without
Milne
Hayes
Kosi
Blake
And possibly more, so guys like Dennis-lane will be important due to age and depth they give to the squad.
Players like dunnel, Schneider and milera all can potentially play up field along with siposs giving the team versatility.
I don't have an issue with this trade at all, actually think he may be better than cripps.

Only 42....why did we draft him then...busso mick wrote:Slightly wrong there Bob as Wilkes kicked 42 for Claremont in 2011 before being picked up.bobmurray wrote:Sounds like if you kick 60 goals in the WAFL you'll get drafted by the Saints

Re: Trent Dennis - Lane
Well… from what I can tell we have paid pick 47 for a 24 year (pick 55) player who is struggling to get a game, and lost a promising 20 YO (pick 24) player for pick 41.
Paid overs for a battler & got FA for a quality kid.
Hope I am wrong here, hope the hyphen becomes a gun and Cripps is only average.
TDL - has reached double figure possessions once in his last 13 games

Re: Trent Dennis - Lane
Dennis Lane is in the corner signing autographs
for every saint he's had the pleasure to have known
And all the people that come and go
Stop and say hello
Dennis Lane is in my ears and in my eyes
There beneath the grey concrete skies
I sit, and meanwhile back
for every saint he's had the pleasure to have known
And all the people that come and go
Stop and say hello
Dennis Lane is in my ears and in my eyes
There beneath the grey concrete skies
I sit, and meanwhile back

That has to be the most blah highlights package I have seen. I gave up after hearing that tdl was inconsistent and in and out of the team and there for depth. On a wafl team.
