Re: For the trolls
i find the pictures of disabled people being used in jest as repugnant. As the parent of a disabled autistic son who has extremely low self esteem because of his disability and because he knows he is backward, it is disappointing that people want to ridicule people with disabilities and therefore him. His self esteem is further shattered.
I once spent a year in Adelaide, I think it was on a Sunday.

Not much I find offensive but photo 3 in that context is pretty juvenile.

Re: For the trolls
Well add me to make it 4 people. We're not talking political correctness here, just about treating people with respect, and showing some decency. Think for a moment - what if it was your brother or sister in the photo? Or even, what if it were you?
If four people have taken the time to object to it, then you can safely multiply that several times to work out how many were offended or even hurt (yet again by yet another demeaning depiction) by it.
But really a decision to remove it shouldn't be based on numbers of people. It is simply a matter of setting a standard.
Do the right thing.

Of course they are disabled.groupie1 wrote:Ya know... we're all making the assumption they're disabled, because they're a bit awkward looking.
Perhaps they're not disabled... and we've just been having a laugh at awkward looking people.
Mentally disabled.
Why else would anyone make the mistake of supporting Collingwood.

Re: For the trolls
Agreed with what people have been saying.
Using that third image in that context is disrespectful. It's one thing to make fun of Collingwood supporters, but it seems like some supporters just want to stoop to the same level as these supporters in retaliation to what they say to us.
