Where's your loyalty people blah blah blah. Or does loyalty only mean anything when they are in your top half a dozen player?Old Mate wrote:Donest.dave wrote:On the Herald's trade chat people are talking about Saints trading Kosi to the Blues for Warnock.
For the record, all for it. But i'd rather Kosi for Hickey

Terrible trade for us. Kosi is a far better player than Warnock.St Ick wrote:Where's your loyalty people blah blah blah. Re: Rumour Thread
This rumour sounds like crazy blue imagineings. These 2 players are not at the same ability.
Kosi to stay.
Kosi to stay.
The boy can play and we can build a defence around him that will have respect.
Re: Rumour Thread
My god, we all think Kosi is struggling, do all these people in favor of such a ridiculous trade know just how bad Warnock is?!...
He is an abysmal footballer, and I will Terry Wallace Spew Up if he comes anywhere near our club..

Re: Rumour Thread
Ironically, it would be better suited to Kosi to play at the Blues.Old Mate wrote:Donest.dave wrote:On the Herald's trade chat people are talking about Saints trading Kosi to the Blues for Warnock.
I reckon he'd get more delivery/opportunity in their forward line....reckon Betts, Gartlett would enjoy it as well.
However no way, not for Warnock....would rather Martin for Ray.

I agree, Warnock would be a backward step for us and a waste of time, in fact I rate Kosi as better player by a fair marginMegamaguire wrote:This rumour sounds like crazy blue imagineings. These 2 players are not at the same ability.
Kosi to stay.
I love this club
Re: Rumour Thread
Kosi turns 31 next year, he is incredibly ordinary and quite frankly a liability. I hope for our sake he's only depth next year cos I doubt he will improve on the second half of the 2012 season. Warnock is a spud, it goes without saying, however we have ONE ruckman on our entire list and zero depth in this area - Wilkes, Stanley and Blake are part-timers. We have enough tall forwards to cover the loss of Kosi. I would trade Kosi for Warnock in a heartbeat (emotions aside - not happening just a hypothetical).

Re: Rumour Thread
No GC won't tip Hickey out, but if not contracted could he not walk? Apparently GC players seeking trades, Hickey & Toy were a no show at training - although they could have been given time off.St Ick wrote:In theory fine, but if we don't get Hickey its not like GC are going to push him out the door.MCG-Unit wrote:Or straight swap Ray - Martin. (that's if Ray really wants out) That would also mean GC can p!ss of for playing hardball on Hickey.
Why a three-way trade to get Jacobs - If Saints want to give up DP 25 for Jacobs, they can deal directly with Port, or even offer Port 37
Port may not want our pick 37, and we may not want to give up pick 25. Which is why a third club might get involved, or we use Cripps and Broughton in a 3 way trade. Remember North might give up 38 & a player.
Who knows what's going on in the background ?

MITCH BROWN UPDATE/ ST KILDA UPDATE:
The saints had tabled Jamie Cripps and pick 26 for Mitch brown, and have also met with hawthorn and offered pick 47 for Gilham.
The saints could also lose Farren Ray to Melbourne for pick 49 which would also be traded in with pick 26 + Jamie Cripps to get Brown.

He did, Schoenmaker struggled for games and Dawson was delisted.SainterK wrote:Why hasn't he since?Ralphy wrote:in 2008 when Croad did his foot he played as a full back

Gilham did his knee against us last year and has rarely played since.

He has played when fit. Had a quad issue late last year after coming back from knee.SainterK wrote:Why hasn't he since?Ralphy wrote:in 2008 when Croad did his foot he played as a full back

Would be cheap and fills a clear hole on our list. Lake has pushed him back in their pecking order.

Ok that explains 2011/2012, he missed a lot of 2009 as well?

You would think we would be getting 41 from WCE as part of that deal surely?Ralphy wrote:MITCH BROWN UPDATE/ ST KILDA UPDATE:

Cripps, 26, & 49 just for Brown would be massive overs IMO, would have to be Brown & 41.

Re: Rumour Thread
WCE are probably going to get pick 44 or 51 from the Dogs for Koby Stevens too...
My guess is the Saints will be waiting on the outcome of that before the trade with Cripps progresses

Re: Rumour Thread
Stevens going to the Dogs seems to be good for the Saints because they really want Cripps now, is that right?
