I'd agree with that - losing Ray and 25!! Jacobs could be good, but don't know about Bennell. Much rather get Martin & 49 for Ray, and then keep Martin or trade him on to Brisbane for pick 33.

He would be good if he could find the footy more than 6 times a game. Has skill to burn but is small & just can't find it. I like the idea of Martin & 49 !

I read this rumour on Facebook which also mentioned that Ben Jacobs has massive 'attitude' issues and is set to leave Port Adelaide on bad terms. Is this the type of bloke we want at the club? Anyway, that trade suggestion made me vomit a little in my mouth. Effectively Jacobs and Bennell for pick 25 and Ray, no thanks. It doesn't address any of our list needs, actually both those players fit into the areas on the park where we have surplus players similar - half back flanker and small forward. Worst trade suggestion I can recall and I've heard some crap ones (I realise it's not your suggestion and you are just reporting the rumour).

Ok, we have a ruck.. if Ray wants to go, let's use Ray to get Gysberts... I would be happy with Ray +26 for Gysberts + 30s-40s.... Gysberts is young and good.... better than rolling the dice in the draft IMO
