who else will we pick up if anyone???

Iam a bit concerned about who else we might get as time is running out quickely. As key Backs go there is Mitch Brown from Geelong and they are willing to trade him.

We allso need some mids especially if we loose farren Ray, and Cripps.Could we beg someone to take Ralph Clarke from us as a trade.

What's wrong with chasing Pears (Ess)? We also need to move fast on Hickey & should look at Jacobs. Views on this?

The free agency period is holding up trades. Don't expect the Hickey deal to be done until next week. It's not a bad thing to remain inactive in trade period and anyway we picked up a potential gun in Tom Lee and will most likely get Tom Hickey. There's a lot of spuds and players past it being floated at the trade table, I personally hope we stay rather inactive. Does anyone really want Chris Dawes, Jared Rivers or Hamish McIntosh? No thanks.

We're like every other club at the moment. Lots of talk; very little action.

What happened to Pears? he was supposedly a gun when he was first starting out. I'd be looking at him if he's all that's available.

Now that Brown (genuine fullback) is a no-go zone I'd focus on

1/ Keep Cripps & Ray
2/ Sign Hickey in swap for pick 34 & possibly Clarke
3/ Look a for a B grader than can do the job at full back with a low pick 50 something(Zac Dawson type)
4/ Keep picks 13 & 24

Does anyone think that Clurry or Jansch would be still there at pick 24?

I've never seen a bad St.Kilda player - that's just how they are.

I don't think they will make it that far. Especially Jaksche he will go in the top 15. Rodda is a later draft pick that could bitch slap Jonathan Brown now. He is like 197 cm and 100kegs at 18. One of the biggest handspans in the testing and is a FB that chopped off everything that went his way versus SA. He reminds me of Daniel Merrett from Brissy just ready made size.

Alright then there's our man.

pick 13 - super skilled mid that is a shoe up for the brownlow (not asking much)

the Brown Eagle is a key Back

The Brown Cat is a key Forward

We need to stop focusing on the Brown and look elsewhere...

I thought the Pelican was the Messiah...he'll get us a Full Back..even if he ends up a spud.

How many defenders will The Saints pick in the 2024 draft ?
