Although Martin can play anywhere, the backline is his weakest position.. we all forget he had a magnificent 2010 season.. His Skills are pretty good. He has a lot more upside as he only stared playing AFL at 17 years of age

We can't be talking about the same Chris Dawes, surely? We moan a bit about Kosi, but this is a key forward at his peak age-wise... who has just managed 16 goals from 23 matches, compared to Kosi's 27 from 19.

The term 'spud' is used a little too often & really should be reserved for guys like Dawes.

Pick 20 is well over the top, yet they are squabbling about our pick 43 on top instead of 45, ken spare me.

By this 'formula', Kosi must be worth a top 3 pick, plus a mid 2nd rounder.

Someone really ought to give Melbourne, WBD, Cartlton etc a quick call and tell them how many goals Dawes has kicked, they must be confused and think they are bidding on Cloke.

Brown is a KPD and nothing else. Hickey is a ruckman and nothing else. Martin is a versatile tall, they could all happily co-exist at St.Kilda.

Along with Kosi, McEvoy, Stanley and adding Lee who is 194+??... Thats a hell of a lot of key position, 194+ guys to fit in the 22... Obviously some will be playing 2's, most likely Kosi heads that list, but we wouldnt recruit the other 3, plus Lee, if they wern't earmarked for a senior spot...

Stefan can be depth, that's what we need...someone to come in if Ben or Stanley injured.

I like competition for spots.

No, If we get Martin, I'd like to think Kosi is then the depth player/backup emergency.

With Lee and Martin, Kosi is third banana IMO.....

I'd prefer to keep Fazza. I like him, and I rate him.
But if he really does want to go, then I be very happy to get Martin.
I followed Stefan Martin through 2010 in my dreamteam, and he was terrific. A good ruck, but also lots of marks + kicks + tackles around the ground.
I just like the look of him.

I think it's more about opportunity, I think he genuinely loves the club (else he wouldn't of signed a contract for peanuts) but just wants to play footy.
