That would be nice, don't know if Port will give him up that cheap, although he is out of contract!

We should play hardball on him & Hickey...both are uncontracted. At the end of the day this is why WCE are playing hardball with us on Cripps. We should get as much value as possible & keep as many earlyish selections as possible. Fingers X.

Im with Plugger66, no chance. Wan't Frawley on twitter welcoming Viney to the club? Not the words of someone leaving.

Even Ray and 13 wouldn't get the deal done.

Best we can hope for is Cripps & 24 for Stevens and Brown.

Pick 34 for Hickey. Then,

Ray for Gysberts.

That, with Stringer, Macrae or Menzel for pick 13 and I would be relatively satisfied. I still reckon we should try to steal a Geelong player... offer big dollars to Menzel or Duncan... Surely they can't have so many young guns... I'm jealous as hell of them as I still remember the rivalry we were 'creating' with them as our kids were better than theirs... if only.... oh man i am depressed about footy tonight!
Gillies was being mentioned on something I watched earlier. Wants out because he doesn't get to play too much. Is he any good? A defender they were saying....

Frawley has just never been mention anywhere outside of forum dream lists

Brown is determined to leave, so it will be hard for WC to do much about it.
And they seem to be happy with Cripps coming, so I just do not see the problem. Just posturing for a draft pick or draft upgrade from us, I guess.

If we get Hickey and Brown, and keep 13 and a 2nd rounder.. then we have done very well IMO

if we keep Ray, great.. I have him in the 22.. otherwise... Gysberts for sure...
If Gysberts does want out... it would be win-win

Focus on Brown and Hickey, Frawley isn't happening.

Last thing we need is the Pies getting 4-5 picks inside the top 40-odd… plus I like seeing a Dunce like Dawes keeping them ordinary.

Forgot about Josh Houlihan, or The Wrong Houlihan as most Saints fans would know him as.

As for Kitchen, must have been before my time. He was cooked early on in his career I suppose.

Created quite a stir

The coach gave him a bake

errr

I've got nothing

Kitchen played 3 games for us in 1995 kicked a goal against Adelaide broke his leg badly and could never make it back. Was a good prospect but the leg killed his career

Is that Gillies or Giles? One is a defender from Geelong, and the other a ruck from GWS.

I'd take giles but can't say I've noticed Gillies.

Also Josh Dicketts was on the rookie list for a year in the early 00s.

If Brown isn't a goer, what about Stephen Gilham (192cm) from Hawthorn, who's still out of contract?

Sorry Gillies was mentioned earlier, didn't read it properly. My bad.

Geez I'd love to get Ben Jacobs. Former sandy dragons boy. Great fit for the club I reckon.

Totally agree. I think he'll be a star!

What I'd like to see,

Cripps + 43 for Brown (maybe Pelican can talk them into Stevens aswell)
34 for Hickey
24 for Jacobs
Ray for Gysberts (or Martin if we don't get Hickey)

Don't mind that deal if we can get it done.

Dont like that deal at all. Too many from other clubs, and we end up with hardly any draft picks in what is considered a good draft. I would like a draft pick from Melbourne for Faz for a start, and we should be trying to get out draft pick (12) back off GWS by trading too.

can't see anything we could give them for 12 with out hurting our list. Gysberts can play and with the development already put in. Brown is filling a pressing need, Hickey for a pick in the 30s is better than getting a kid ruckman and putting in 4 years before we get a return. We are swapping a fringe player for a younger player with up side and getting something good for a guy who wants to go home. Jacobs was a high pick but again has already had a couple of years building his tank and body up. We really need ready to go players not guys that will be great in the future because of the state of our list.
