Re: Saints chase Caddy, Brown
Just a thought - If you have Lenny, Armo, Steven, Dal, Monty, Gram and you go and get Caddy and possibly Stevens - how do you give guys like Ross, Ledger and possibly Tom C game time? I know you need depth but are our current young guys going to get any serious game time.
I've never seen a bad St.Kilda player - that's just how they are.
Re: Saints chase Caddy, Brown
Talking about when they were stupidly outed.... Not drafted
You were around in the mid 2000's though.....
Cripps is gone, and he did pretty much FA
Parker, premiership player, comes from the next suburb, dominated as a junior.... His team mates were absolutely astounded he got to pick 40
And classic p66
Most people on here know exactly what that is

Well you can't have too many good mids… plus there is a 10 year opportunity brewing with us with Lenny, Dal & Joey finishing up in the next couple of years.PJ wrote:Just a thought - If you have Lenny, Armo, Steven, Dal, Monty, Gram and you go and get Caddy and possibly Stevens - how do you give guys like Ross, Ledger and possibly Tom C game time? Ledger might get traded out,
Gram doesn't really go into the middle…
I imagine Ross will play only a few games next year if he deserves them.
They might not all play together, but there is openings if players are good enough.
b.t.w. I can't see us getting all of these players mentioned, key back and ruck are the most pressing, gun midfielders you take if you can get anytime.

2007. Yep that is middle 2000's. Why no thread on Parker as soon as he was drafted. Because the hindsighter had to see how he went. Cripps no good because there was no Photo. I know recruiting has become a science but that is taking it to a new low. Also 2 years and you are calling it. I suppose that does at least beat the photo idea.
Can you also explain what the next suburb has to do with anything. And team mates astounded he went so late. Well that would never happen to a hack player either.
I wish the hindsighter had of told us as soon as the draft was over last year who we should have got but no hindsighters wait at least a year. I look forward to you telling us who we should have got in 2012 draft in 2014 and then saying I told you.

How that guy will be let through to pick #14 is just astounding
Lance or James??
There comes a point in every man's life when he has to say, "Enough is enough." For me, that time is now. I have been dealing with claims that I cheated and had an unfair advantage in <redacted>. Over the past three years, I have been subjected to a <redacted>investigation followed by <redacted> witch hunt. The toll this has taken on my family, and my work for <redacted>and on me leads me to where I am today – finished with this nonsense. (Oops just got a spontaneous errection <unredacted>)

But you never saw him play. You only like him because his team thought he should go that high and he lives close to you.

They will not grow old, as those from more northern States grow old.
For them it will always be three-quarter-time, with the scores level
and the wind advantage in the final term.
