James Frawley trade update
This trade is way to big not to have its own thread!
Those of you that can stand big footy please post what you hear.
Would be massive for us. Full back for the next ten years and no chance of losing him to free agency!

Would love the nephew of Spud to join us. Would definitely help ease the pain of losing Goddard.

Re: James Frawley trade update
We are being linked to a lot of players. Can't get them all.
And I'd like to see us have a few reasonable draft picks left in what they reckon is a 'Superdraft'......
But he would be good. No doubt.

I don't believe it is referred to as a Super Draft by anyone other than Bundy, it's meant to be light on for Quality tallsVerdun66 wrote:We are being linked to a lot of players. Can't get them all.

Re: James Frawley trade update
'Nephew of Spud, joining Saints would be cool indeed as suggested by Sainternist.
I always enjoyed Danny Frawley in his days @ St. kilda. I think we are just one big talented defender away from bringing on a much more leak-proof defence for the next year or two. being that bit more harder to score against should swing the ability to enforce pressure on a game Saintwards.
Our defence has been a lot more pleasing to watch with the arrival of Simpkin and now that Gwilt has last year behind him he could very well regain the great form that he showed in the last year or two under Rosslyon. If we were able to sneak in a smart big guy with youth on his side i'd be over Bj in an instant.
GO SAINTS!

The boy can play and we can build a defence around him that will have respect.
Re: James Frawley trade update
A few bits of evidence kind of make a J.Frawley in a st.kilda guernsey puzzle
Frawley article in the paper said he was sick of losing
http://www.adelaidenow.com.au/sport/afl ... 6419406041
Big St.kilda rumour we have been targeting a 'name' player and he was a defender.
The saints link with Danny
Watters and Neeld link (much like Ross and roos Schneider, Dempster)
WE NEED A FULL BACK
We have money to burn. Willing to pay IMO 600 over 5 years fr J Frawley

Re: James Frawley trade update
They're possibly morons that are doing the trades at the Dees if the Dawes and Wellingham for pick 4 is correct. We should just offer Polo and Peake and an actual potato to them. They might give us Jack Watts and Scully to get the deal done.
Re: James Frawley trade update
So now we are a chance of getting players because it is on a footy forum. I might start one on getting Ablett. I believe Frawley is contracted and has no intention of leaving.

Re: James Frawley trade update
NOT a Super Draft but I've read & heard that its pretty bloody good. Next year is said to be shaping as pretty close to a Super Draft !!bobmurray wrote:I don't believe it is referred to as a Super Draft by anyone other than Bundy, it's meant to be light on for Quality tallsVerdun66 wrote:We are being linked to a lot of players. Yep it is fun just making up stuff. Maybe we have different ideas of fun. Mine is going out with mates and having a laugh and a drink and talking crap. Obviously others think fun is writing crap about trades. I think the rule should be we have to at least have a 1% chance to get them before a thread is started.

I've never known you to leave the computer so now you sound like a liar. People get excited about the machinations which nearly always end up going arse up, let them enjoy it. We probably will get Caddy but unless Brown at West coast decides he wants out and pressures a trade we may not be into it. Other than that who knows what we will get.

You might want to go back and read my disclaimer post straight after it. Trengove and Scully are both s*** -couldn't remember which was which.bobmurray wrote:gringo wrote:They're possibly morons that are doing the trades at the Dees if the Dawes and Wellingham for pick 4 is correct. No Dana Scully. Fox Mulder is the steak knives.
As for Frawley - I want to believe.....
Lance or James??
