Re: New Era caps
Definitely bend the brim. Wear it straight, not sideways. And for goodness sake, peel the bloody stickers off before wearing it!

Re: New Era caps
you are all too old to understand.
these hats are worn by a lot of the younger people, you do not bend the hat, you do not take the sticker off. bending the hat is the same as ripping your saints jumper, it was made that way so its left that way, and taking the sticker off is like taking the saints logo off your jumper, it is to be left there for people to see its authentic.
although in saying that i'd never buy one.

"Another storied win in Robert Harvey's career. They say he is the embodiment of their motto of strength through loyalty, and on the day he became just the tenth man to play 350 league games the saints reward him with a seemingly impossible victory."

Re: New Era caps
I collect caps but not that one, its peeeewk.
If i did buy one i would roll the peak, then bend the crap out of it, i would take the sticker off
then frisbee it across the park a few times, let my dog chase it then see what it looks like.
$50 bucks with free postage? what a joke, they are $5 wholesale.
Still got my Tony PLugger Lockett cap, that will do, at least it didnt look like some homo yank boyband crap.
I think i said no i wont buy one..

Re: New Era caps
I was thinking of buying one, grabbing a few "ho's" (that's gangster slang for those over 73 yrs) and changing my username to "Puff-Teffy".....
Seriously this club is taking the p!ss
1. They lose key players with no idea of compensation
2. They reduce membership options to "haves" and "have not" based on where your seat is
3. And now want fans to look as stupid in these caps as they feel...

Well, well well...look at you...You don't come across as a bloke who'd enjoy sitting with the unwashed masses given how egalitarian you sound.Teflon wrote:I was thinking of buying one, grabbing a few "ho's" (that's gangster slang for those over 73 yrs) and changing my username to "Puff-Teffy".....

C'mon guys! It's the afl trying to copy the nba
Heaps of people my age wear the nba versions of these.
Don't bag the club as every team has these hats too!
Look out for me next year. I'll be the douche wearing one

Re: New Era caps
New Era have been producing caps for teams in just about every professional sporting league around the globe for a few years now.
I'm surprised it has taken the AFL this long to be in the business with them.

Re: New Era caps
New ERA has made 3 different styled caps for every AFL team. I bought a saints one a few weeks back their very well made caps that will definately sell to the younger audience . These flat brim hats are the in thing at the moment in fashion circles for caps. you should all go buy one.
