Yeah thats a good deal. If we could get Caddy Hickey and Stevens plus use our first pick we come out pretty well. Losing Goddard and Cripps is a whack but Id be happy for those ins.

That would be good but I have a feeling we will miss on Caddy, I reckon he will be a pussy. I think a few clubs are into him.

apparently due to what happened last year he has been instructed by manger and coach to not nominate one club and will be giving a list of clubs (which we are apparently 1 of) and gold coast will be dealing with those clubs and looking for the best outcome for them so i say we are more than a big chance considering we have better first round picks then them

Yeah, I think you're right - they already had to register and a few compo picks have been used but not Geelong's.

Yeah, I think you're right - they already had to register and a few compo picks have been used but not Geelong's.

Needs to be nominated before the start of the season. Geelongs priority pick is probably worth more than pick 13 but its still a risk as the Cats could finish top 4 next year (especially if they get Caddy and do well out of FA). If they finish top 4 next year their pick will be worse than pick 13, do dealing in uncertainties is a risky trade if you ask me.

Or Caddy, Toy and Hickey if Cripps gives us a good improvement on our second round pick and we don't want Stevens. But I have read we are keen on a WC player so we will probably get that player over a pick.

Would our second rounder plus Cripps be worth WCs first rounder? Just a thought to help us go all out with trades or drafting quality kids...

The Saints are also in danger of losing Farren Ray. The journeyman midfielder was seen meeting Melbourne last week.

Ray played just 11 senior matches under Scott Watters in 2012 despite showing strong form for Sandringham in the VFL and at AFL level.

I went to the Crows/Hawks final and made an effort to watch his positioning and play as he is the size and age we should be looking for and there is just something about him that I really like. I was very vocal after that one match in support of Thompson. Plus you would think he would or could come to us as part of a Hickey, Caddy, Tippett, Toy, draft pick super trade if he nominated us.
