St Kilda's "Team of the Century" - Brendon Goddard?
This question is mainly directed at the older fellas, as I'm too young to make an honest opinion.
If our "Team of the Century" was re-done, as to include the players that have come and gone since it was named, what's your opinion on the 2 following questions;
1 - Would Brendon Goddard be named in it?
2 - If so, who would he replace?

No he wouldnt. Roo, Milne, Lenny and Dal would perhaps be a chance.

Not even close to being a chance.
If it was purely about grand final "heroics" then yes he'd be a shoe in.

What century are we talking about? He wouldn't even be capable of shining the boots of a team from last century? This century who knows?? Only has 11 years of players to compete against. Maybe one 3rd in a B&F may give him a little cred.....who knows.
Or is it a team of the century from Saints beginning........................ I'm getting all confused.

Competing with Brett Bowey and Gordon Fode for the forward pocket spot..

He would make the team of the decade he would make team of the last 20 years but team of the last 100 years might be a stretch ...

No
One mark in a grand final and easy kicks on the back line doesn't quite cut it
Lenny on the other hand.......

Since the current All-Australian team system was introduced in 1991, we have had 18 players represented, although some multiple times:
Robert Harvey (8)
Nathan Burke (4)
Nick Riewoldt (4)
Lenny Hayes (3)
Stewart Loewe (3)
Tony Lockett (3)
Nicky Winmar (3)
Nick Dal Santo (3)
Stephen Milne (2)
Brendon Goddard (2)
Leigh Montagna (2)
Austinn Jones (2)
Peter Everitt (2)
Sean Dempster (1)
Sam Fisher (1)
Luke Ball (1)
Fraser Gehrig (1)
David Grant (1)
If Brendon leaves the club for an extra $1 million for an extra year, his place amongst the Saints greats will remain intact.
