Have you noticed no matter what the issue is he always goes against the AFL? That's called bias and having an agenda driver point of view.

I prefer balanced people and balanced views. Not personally driver vendetta bullsh1t.

Thomas may have had his faults, but nobody is perfect. The perfect coach does not exist. To be a coach, or a CEO or another type of leader, you need a vision and firm belief in that vision.
Thomo was great to watch on that show as he had strong opinions and for some people, was a great foil for all the sycophants who worshipped Fat Andy, as well as morons like Darcy, B Taylor and current players who speak like politicians.
Very sad to see him go. Breath of fresh air.

Or Grant had had enough of what CH 9 demanded of him on his weekly Footy Classified gig...maybe he'd had enough of working with a wanker like Hutchy or a female self satisfier like Caroline....

he may have decided Gary Lyon had no credibility due to Melbourne still being a basket case with a crap list......maybe Butters or Archie scored a job at CH 9...who knows.

I agree. Sad to see him go. He is unique and fearless and as far as I am aware the only footy person who can stand up and proudly declare "I AIN'T A YES MAN"........
