Freo 1/4 time huddle: Did I see right?
I'm sitting there in front of the telly watching the Crows /Freo game, and at quarter time was listening to the comments etc while the camera showed the action around the huddles. I almost jumped out of my skin when the cameras went to the Freo huddle. Is it my age/eyesight/both or did I really see standing there, large as life, that knobhead of a runner that used to consistently cost us free kicks? Did he move west with Rossy? cos if he did it's gone from win-win to win-win-win!!!!

Maybe it was him who helped RL compile his share portfolio? If his skills as a financial advisor match his skills as a runner then it explains quite a lot Just glad to see the last of the bastard!!!

Also saw him using allot of colourful language in the box , wonder if he'll chew through the assistants like he did in his last years at the saints .

Probably won't matter Jiggster - wait another week and our Waverley Park co-tenants will destroy either one!!!!thejiggingsaint wrote:What a bloomin dilemma! I cant stand either side, but want the crows to win!

Well RL won't shoulder the blame, so some poor sucker will pay the price.st_Trav_ofWA wrote:Rumour is Sumich is already on the way out ...mr six o'clock wrote:Yes that is funny isn't it !thejiggingsaint wrote:Maybe it was him who helped RL compile his share portfolio? They've already announced that Brett Kirk is heading over so someone will have to make way.

Ross will be asked about, and in no particular order...
Kepler omission
Why not Johnson onto Walker earlier
Could Pav have been brought into the game more (reminded me of Roo sitting forward expected to win the game off his boot)

Isnt it funny. Last week they said RL did the right thing by Freo by playing Pavlich deeper.

4 quarters is a long time to try something that isn't working though.plugger66 wrote:SainterK wrote:Ross will be asked about, and in no particular order...

Football changes quarter to quarter let alone week to week.
I think it was a wake up call that he has his strengths and weaknesses.
Sandersons efforts after half time were very, very impressive.

What did he do after half time. I still havent worked out what our different game plan was last year compared to previous years. RL has a lot more weaknesses now then he previously did.

I'm not a big one for tactics, but it appeared to me....plugger66 wrote:SainterK wrote:Who, Sando or Ross?
Sanderson.
Instead of playing on and bombing it like they did in the first half, played more a Hawks style game with lots of uncontested marks and short kicking.

Waverley Park/VFL Park/AFL Waverely what ever you want to call it was St.Kilda and Hawthorn's joint home game venue from 1993 to 1999 ish.thejiggingsaint wrote:Co-Tenants?

Re: Freo 1/4 time huddle: Did I see right?
The story is he continues to live and work in Melbourne and then flies each weekend to Perth.
According to the runner himself "he and Ross have a good rapport"
What and no-one in the WAFL could develop the same level of rapport with the coach?
Freo as a club must have more money than sense if they accepted this demand from their coach, apart from the fact the travel must physically killing this guy, he's no spring chicken.

He travels to Perth now in order to run across the mark? Goody!!! Man, if his awareness as a runner is anything to go by it's a wonder the turd can find his way to the airport! Its amazing that we lost good assistants and this nobhead continues to get the gig! I wonder how long it will be before they're posting abuse about him on the Dockerland forum LOL!

Not that I am defending his use.
But is there any real cost difference....or travel difference "wear and tear" ,,,,,to a guy living in Perth and flying interstate a 11 times vs living in Melb and flying to Perth 11 times? Would be a much of a muchness.
Flying the World in comfort thanks to FF Points....
Re: Freo 1/4 time huddle: Did I see right?
i had the same problem...have hated the crows and that halfwit jarman since 1997, but my hatred of lynin surpasses that...so it was the crows for me ...knowing full well that they will get theirs at the hands of the dorks next week....thejiggingsaint wrote:What a bloomin dilemma! .everybody still loves lenny....and we always will

Re: Freo 1/4 time huddle: Did I see right?
hang on, are we talking about a runner or the guy (Glen is his name) that used to hold up the board for Ross in the huddles for St Kilda?
