Goddard offered contract

Post: # 1255418Post St.Carl »

From the club website

http://www.saints.com.au/news/newsartic ... fault.aspx

and reported on the Age website.

'salary cap not an issue'

The first year coach also stated that captaincy would not be offered as an incentive for the star midfielder to stay, despite being him being in contention for the elite job next year.

“At no stage would captaincy be offered as cream on the cake for a contract. That would be disrespecting the privilege of being a captain. Captaincy’s earned.”

As long as we don't pay overs for the dummy spitter...
having said that i hope he stays, however, would it matter if we got some good picks for him that we were able to use on some gun players for the near future..

How many defenders will The Saints pick in the 2024 draft ?

sometimes good to listen for yourself- rather than just read what others take out of interviews

Scott as always measured and factual on where we are at ( apart from the 300 game players) But on his 12 months.

Boy I wish we had about 3 more like the dummy spitter!
Kosi was not real bad either.
