Kosi tries hard but he just cant go anymore. Watching him being caught at the back of the pack and being first to the ball but when the ball spilt to the back he got eclipsed in a split second was hard to watch.

Sorry Kosi, its time to go

BANG BANG
When has he ever gone? He played 4 good games in a another life. And that is the extent of his GOOD games. Meanwhile the most touches he normally has nowadays is knocking are guys down.

Was going to be a great player. Crueled by injury, and lately had no luck with umpires. I think we all hoped he would rediscover his old potential and achieve. One of footy's hard luck stories, he deserves a bit of respect, but yes, time to hang up the boots.

Oh no you didn't. Hard luck stories? Are you kidding me? Potential? Crueled
by injury and no luck with the umpires?

How this guy is still getting games is beyond me. Absolute joke.

Sadly I think you're right. Kosi has shown his true colours tonight. I couldn't believe I could have seen such a lack-lustre effort from a player of his "supposed" calibre.

I was mighty impressed that the coaches pulled the sub and got Schnides on. At least he showed some ticker!

We should have traded Kosi years ago!

Guess somebody had to take the heat.
The obligatory "Gram sucks" thread got derailed by him being our best tonight and Raph wasn't in the side!

It's sad.

Not sure he even believed he could do it tonight.

The end comes quick for some.

Played nearly 200 games, had some pretty severe injuries over the journey.

Whichever way the club decides to go, I'm sure they'll do the right thing....because let's be honest, he may be needed next year even if it's purely for depth, just until Rhys can get some consistency in his games (not effort, just out on the park for a good chunk of games hopefully)

Pretty fair post.

If he is still there next year I bloody hope it's on minimum wage

such a champ, and a st kilda icon, but time to retire, let someone else have a run...

A St Kilda Icon??? More like a St Kilda Con!

I have never commented specifically on Kozi, because he "has played" some great games for us and "is" a Saints icon, but last night I too felt that his time has come - oh so slow and cumbersome. Every footballer's time comes and now that we are in a re-building phase, we need someone who will consistently make a positive impact.

I was watching on the tele last night and saw Kozi packed up and walking from the rooms quite early after the match had concluded - the body language said it all.

Love you Kosi...but seriously time to pull the plug. Its becoming embarrassing. Bit like the boxer who goes on to fight one too many fights. Clearly only being picked because the cupboard is bare.

Kosi is embarrassing. Not up to elite football and wasting money in our cap. Cut him now somehow!!!! Trade maybe for some extra training footys or a treadmill. Anything so we don't have to pay this dinosaur any more money.

agreed. gotta feel for the guy but he's now had 7 out of 21 games this year with fewer than 10 touches, no games over 14 despite playing in a ruck a bit. and only 7 out of 21 with more than four marks.

he just hasn't got it any more, in the head as much as in the body. if he wants to play for sandy next year then he can hang around, but i'm not sure that's going to be his preference.

Well it's not his fault the cupboard is bare.

Everyone slams him, but going by the way footy works, at this point in his career....there should of been a Lynch, Walsh, Gaertner, Cahill putting pressure on his spot/and or rotating with him to allow him to rest at times.

That's what disgust me most about all the threads on here that go way to personal, the club has made huge recruiting mistakes...

The cupboard shouldn't be bare!

Agree it shouldn't be personal.

- Kosi didn't draft himself to St Kilda.

- Kosi didn't keep giving himself contracts to play at St Kilda.

- Kosi doesn't pick himself to play each week for St Kilda.

Yes he may be reaching the end; may have even reached it. But he's really only been doing what others have asked him to do, i.e. train & play. If he's not doing that to the required standard then those "others" need to make the call.
