Was this a St. Kilda home game?
I was at the game today, but I can get into any game at the MCG or Etihad because I am an AFL member (saints support of course). However I am a bit confused?
St. Kilda was first on the scoreboard, but was this a saints home game, that normally means it is, but was that an illusion?
I looked around the whole ground, did the cheer squad turn up and if so where were they?
We all love Etihad, I know I do, it is great watching us play there, but the turn up today was terrible.
Maybe the club should push for all of our home games at Etihad even if we lose money! What's the point? No one turns up anyway at the G?

When Harvey played his first game in 1988, I was a 12yo wearing short pants and struggling with my readin', writin' and 'rithmetic in grade eight. Now, I'm a father of three and a retired AFL player. And he's still going. Amazing! - Michael Voss

Yes
As ex-president Peter Summers said:
“If we are going to be a contender, we may as well plan to win the bloody thing.”
St Kilda - At least we have a Crest!

The saints have had two home games at the MCG for the past few seasons. Today was our second home game as the first one was against hawthorn earlier in the season. This however will be replaced next year with the two games being in Wellington new zealand

If we are ever going to win the big one we have to master the G, so playing a couple of home games there is a good idea.
Just a shame our supporters are getting so soft.

1964 - our last "home" game at St Kilda (turned out to be a good move, just).Sainternist wrote:No, we haven't had a home game since 1992...

Clearly it is for some.noob wrote:Is it that hard to look at the afl fixture on the afl site?
Had the game been at Etihad, there would've been about the same crowd. 3K more Saints fans and 3K less Dees fans, and we would've lost more money!
i am Melbourne Skies - sometimes Blue Skies, Grey Skies, even Partly Cloudy Skies.

At least our cheer squad wasn't Melbourne- I think both of them turned up yesterday but one might have been heavily sedated.
