Thommo said something about the umpires years ago and we spent years getting screwed because of his big mouth.

I was at the game...the umpiring was laughably biased towards Collingwood.
Last quarter starts. Free to Collingwood in the centre. Free to Collingwood in the forward line. Goal.

I'm still so upset about that game. Although in a weird way i'm happy that i got so riled up about the game. As an American who just recently became a Saints fan, it's nice to know I care enough about the team to get so angry at that game. I've only been a fan for a short time, but I really love this club already.

It's obvious to me the umpires are corrupt.

We would have been in a better position to complain about the umpiring had we won, but like I said in another thread, we would be villified in the anti-StKilda media as poor losers if we were vent our spleen over the disgraceful umpiring last night and in at least five other games this year where umpiring desicions cost as the game!

On the reply it was 25 to 14 BEFORE the obrien free - so thats 26 to 14 - 9 to 2 in the last qtr - we were playing the ball and getting there first a good deal of the time in the last so no call for such discrepancy - Pies had 2 frees to make a goal in the first 1 minute of the last term - umpiring has cost us about 3 games this year - Obriens free wasn't even worth comment it was so bad - but the damage had been done - a draw would't help us I don't think needed to win -- saints should now give the league the F you - rest our aging champs - roo,milney, lenny, joey, goddard - let them get their bodies right for next year - and get some games into our young blokes - see who can make a diff next year - sipposs, Milera, Newnes, cripps, ledger and 1 or 2 others - see if archer should stay on the list and same with wilkes --- 2013 is for the saints now I would think
