It was just inexperience. The longer he plays the more he'll be aware of other potential options around him.

To be fair 3 of his goals last week were about as hard as getting a joe the goose over the top. He is going to be frustrating to watch but we must persist as Milney wont be around for much longer. Maybe rotate him and Terry for the rest of the season.

roo is in a strange place now. i don't see him lead like he used to do. is he really a HF atm? don't know if it's the game changing or our mids but he just aint the force he used to be... used have the strong lead and mark. I havn't seen it for a while now.

A spell in the 2's could be on the cards and wouldn't do him any harm

Hardly his fault, 0 structure in a forward line with hail Mary in balls. Doesn't suit a rookie small forward. Even Milne had to kick his goals from outside 50 so he stood little chance if Milne can't get goals inside 50.

Did cost us a huge moment to take the lead by not passing to kosi but we could have taken the lead a lot of times so blaming one guy is wrong

Well if you use Grant Thomas's interpretation of whats required by a small forward Saad would have be to be worse than Milney. Of course both are great at times and both cant be scoring goals if the ball is held in the Swans forward line like in the second quarter. If one is scoring you cant expect all the small forwards to be bearing the same fruit. Where were the taller forwards? Lots of selfless effort and running to position but not adding value to the scoreline?

Both Saad and Milney should have had more opportunity than the talls as the midfield delivery must have been really poor to allow so many marks by Sydney's tall defenders.

Midfield delivery to forwards and ultimate non execution of goal conversion when in control, were reasons for the loss. Effort was generally good bar the second quarter.

When it happens it's going to be a very sad day...not easy to replce a player who has played 252 games and kicked 530 goals.

Being a bit harsh on Saad, can't remember Milneys first ten games so they may not have been super flash. Let's compare toward the end of Saads carrear. If he's half as good as Milneys I'll be happy.....

kosi was behind him. he's a small forward, his job is to kick goals. i'm sure watters would be disappointed that he missed, but his decision to have the shot was 100% right.

Look guys, we know he didn't have the best game, but give the kid a break. It's his first year, and he's only been playing AFL for about 6 years.
He has massive upside and with every game he will learn more and more.
It's probably better that he had a bad game like he did yesterday, so that he can experience the ups and downs, and he will learn from the heart-ache.
It's a huge step up from VFL to AFL.
I'm sure the coaches are always working with him to improve his game, and perhaps he needs a spell to try and refresh mentally/physically.
I think he could be due for a spell and possibly Milera would be a good replacement.
But seriously, some of the things being said are unfair.

Siposs had 4 kicks in just over half the game.
Saad had 3 for the entire match.
