Armo?

It was Cahill, Stanley, Steven & Dawson.

Unless you're referring to something else?

You still at it…
Remember why he wasn't a premiership captain? Because of his outrageous off-field exploits.
The guy was good at kicking the footy, but is more famous for being a junkie… whose life is now in absolute ruins because he can't pull himself together, that is a fact.

I heard Craig Cameron earlier in the year talking about Brett Deledio, saying that basically for most of his career he has been completely devoid of any leadership qualities… he is now (25 YO) just starting to realise that there are younger players on the list which he could help.
This is the guy you are referencing this whole stinky thread off… Really solid foundation.

Doesn't matter who it was, he was a BAD influence.

Armo wouldn't have stood a chance!!!

Lucky for us, we didn't take him...... Otherwise we mightn't have came 2nd

Maybe we should get Ben down the club as a coach or mentor?
"I have never seen someone so focussed on team performance. The first time he spoke up at a midfield meeting when he arrived for the 2009 season, everyone's jaw dropped. It was like 'this bloke seriously knows his S***'"
From the mouth of Brett Delidio, no less... "It was like 'this bloke seriously knows his shyte'"

Like what more do we need to know...?

Like based on that alone (like just like this thread), sign him up.

NOW Delidio is a screw up... A dual Best and Fairest and All Australian who only recently smashed us. He is really a failure??
I suppose every player needs to be a 'leader' nowadays... The popular buzz word... Just like Goddard is one...

I loved the line..... The guy was 'good at kicking a footy'
Rising Star
4 * best and Fairest
6* All Australian
Brownlow Medal
Premiership
Captain 5 seasons

I think it's fair to say he is one of the most decorated players of the modern era, who will be remembered as a great of the game by football people.
It seems that by his team mates, WCE and Ricmond he was revered as a player and much loved.

But forumites at SS know best.... They knew him personally, and could positively say what his influence was
Positive or Negative

Didn't want him for his coaching skills, or for mentoring..... Although his experience would have been nice in Sept, and his legendary preparing skills could have been seen to be believed...

I wanted his football skills only, in particular

Kicking, Finishing, Decision Making and Run And Spread..... All of which he was ELITE!

You could be talking about one A Lovett, but you never wanted him at the club, cause he was a d**khead off the field right?
Funny stuff.
Can we please have Ben cousins the footballer, with no baggage?
