the future starts now !
After tonights insipid performance its time to no longer play the guys who don't have any improvement in there game !
I know the following players are solid contributors and you carn't just change half the side , however i don't see any upside in there games anymore .
if anyone can please inform me .
They are Gram , Clarke , kosi , milney , blake and gilbert .
Add to this players who in the next couple of years will join them , roo , hayes , dal , bj and snides . Its time to look to the future .

Re: the future starts now !
I can understand the frustration at that performance, but I'll "agree to disagree" about when "the future" starts. I reckon our future began when we got done by Sydney in the finals and RL went west. This period of the clubs history isnot going to be without some pain, but I believe that our future is BRIGHT! Did any of us expect a big year after 2011? Have patience, keep your nerve, maintain the faith my brothers and sisters in Sainthood!!!!!! It WILL be worth the pain!!!!

The point of my post is that , all these guys are still good players , there just not part of the future , most of them will be delisted by the end of 2013 !

Yeah, agree. At least he died taking the game on. Was probably under instruction to get it and run.
Let's face it we had many passengers tonight and to single one guy out for one passage of play ... particularly an attempt to be creative and start something ... reeks of scapegoating

The fact that some are saying that Raph was amongst our best (and I'm not saying that he wasn't) pretty much sums up where we are as a team!

Re: the future starts now !
We definitely need to move forward into the future without some of the SAME OLD PLAYERS.
It's time to bring some more youth into the team and drop some of those players that are just not up to it anymore.
Out goes most of Gram , Clarke , kosi , milney , blake and gilbert (as the OP listed).
In comes Siposs, Simpkin, Ferguson, Cripps, Dunnell, Newnes. I know some are rookies but elevations need to be made.
Then when they are up to it the likes of Ledger, Ross, Curran, etc can come in.
It's time to BE THE FUTURE and say goodbye to the past.

What's the story with Newnes? i've got high hopes for him and notice he didn't play for the Zebras. Is he injured?

Milne's been caught holding the ball probably three times as much as Clarke.

just so tired of being nervous when Clarke has the ball....
I admire some of his pressure.... but my blood pressure cant take the fear i get when he has a run!

You know, there are those who are sooooooooo happy to be miserable. they find the negatives in anything...even a win. Some who are happy sitting in their own "shhh-u-know-what" I was with a guy last night who when we scored our goals made not a peep, but as soon as a turnover occurred became almost manically animated!!!! But hey, its a free country and we agree to disagree. I choose to be positive.

Good for you - I dislike "positive at all costs" myself cause its laced with blind stupidity and gets in the way of REALITY and hard decisions.thejiggingsaint wrote:You know, there are those who are sooooooooo happy to be miserable. they find the negatives in anything...even a win.
