I was there tonight ............Kosi appeared to have frequent bouts of nausea/vomiting tonight (did anyone see that ..I thought I caught a glimse of it from Isle 40 Gr level )
Radio were suggesting food poisoning ?? Could that explain his malaise

If thats the case then someone should get a decent kick up the arze for allowing him to play ahead of Wilkes !!
NEW scarf signature (hopefully with correct spelling) will be here as soon as it arrives !!
And once it hits the ground he has the ball skills of a lesbian.
The rest of Australia can wander mask-free, socialise, eat out, no curfews, no zoning, no police rings of steel, no illogical inconsistent rules.
They can even WATCH LIVE FOOTY!
To be fair, how many were kicked to Kosi's advantage?
Yes hes slow, but he needs to be 1 on 1 in the goal square. The reason you need Kosi is because you need at least TWO tall targets. If you get rid of Kosi, who do you put in there? If you put a medium or small target, the team will just focus on kicking to Roo. We've seen it all too many times. You need that structure. You need two big talls at least.
So if you want to put in Wilkes, then go ahead, but don't think that getting rid of Kosi is going to fix everything, because on tonights performance, it won't. There were major issues in the midfield and ruck, along with players just not interested (ie. Gram). The real issue is commitment and desire, along with game style tonight.

so why would he play when we had wilkes ready to go as an emergency???? the excuse going around before the bye was he had the flu . now food poisoning? his last 6 weeks have been effing ABYSMAL.
so dont throw up crap excuses like flu, food poisoning etc etc. If ur really sick dont play!
its not like hes a star where he still adds value when he is underdone. hes a struggler/fringe player at the best of times.

His form might have tapered of a bit in the last few weeks but before that he reminded us of how good a player he can be. He's better than a fringe player IMO.......

Then why the bloody hell was he out there? !!

If he was sick as suggested the emergency player (Wilkes) is available. A healthy player is more helpful then a player that's not fit for rigorous game of football.

Why do we continue to shoot ourselves in the foot by doing this?
Wilkes is more than a capable replacement for Kosi. Dare I say it, he would probably have got the same opponent as Kosi!
Some of the thought processes and decisions people at the club make are unbelievable!

Well it certainly wasn't leather poisoning.
gold big carl! absolute gold.
but i all seriousness - if ur really crook the team thing isnt to try and be a hero and play (remember presti in the GF 2010) the team thing is to know u wont be a contributor and let someone healthy in. maybe he was being a selfish prick and either thinking of the 4k match payment or trying to keep wilkes out. So if he was sick hes selfish a moron for playing. And if hes not sick hes just a terrible player. So take your pick.
If Wilkes can come in and do better than Kosi, then fantastic, but apart from the Melbourne game Wilkes hasn't shown anything yet. Kosi at least had some decent game in the first half of the season.
Got to say I'm not particularly impressed by Watters at the moment. Kosi is barely in our 22 at best let alone when sick so why the hell would he play when we had an emergency who plays the same position.
