The funny thing was the house started to shake yet the dog never even woke up from his spot next to the fire !
So much for animals having a sixth sense about these sort of things !

MELBOURNE has stood still after a sequence of tremors shook the city just before 9pm.

Readers have swamped the Herald Sun with calls reporting significant tremors from everyone from the suburbs all the way across the state to country Victoria.

The tremor, which last about 20 seconds, has been felt from Kilmore, Gippsland, Drouin, Rowville and inner-Melbourne.

Mother nature is not happy at the moment. I was in 3 earthquakes in Italy 2 weeks ago. Now here.

Nothing at all in the Doc's house in Newtown.

However I was learning the running man dance from YouTube at the time it took place so that may have softened the effect (or caused the quake :shock: )
