Yeah, big supporter. Although on the basis of support Banger would have played for Essendon.Ralphy wrote:ok so how do we get sloane to our club? he barracked for us

Re: R12 Game thread v Adelaide
This missing goals and them bringing it straight down and kicking them is giving me the s***s! It's easily at least a 6 goal turnaround (3 misses) if not more. f***!!!!

Yeah get some mongrel in them. Getting smashed in centre clearances so lucky to be in touch still.
They need to follow Gram's example of how to win the hard ball.

The AAMI stadium crowd - the most unsporting, unchivalrous group of Australians ever assembled in one place.
Throwing tantrums to try to force umpires to make a decision.
Booing Riewoldt for...for...for...I don't know what for.
Booing well-constructed well-played goals simply because they're by the opposition.
Would be nice to win just to keep them quiet.

actually suprised he is playing, I would have thought he would be better of coming back after the byeor even have a run at sandy to get some match fitness firstThe Craw wrote:at the mo .... it looks though Big Ben is Rucking to the crow mids.

Re: R12 Game thread v Adelaide
We're being outplayed at the moment. Adelaide are simply getting the ball into their forward line with ease. I guess the good news is we are only a few goals down, and it would have been less if we kicked truly.
If our defence steps up in the second half we might be in with a chance. But at the moment the match-ups are all wrong. Why isn't Simpkin playing? Terrible blunder if he's been dropped.

He's got no touch. All at sea. Not surprising after a lay-off. Just needs to work into it. Thompson very good in there for them.Stillwaiting wrote:actually suprised he is playing, I would have thought he would be better of coming back after the byeor even have a run at sandy to get some match fitness firstThe Craw wrote:at the mo .... it looks though Big Ben is Rucking to the crow mids.

Missed opportunities again. Thought Ross might have taken that with him...
Jack needs to get into the game more.
Frustrating.
#1 Seriously. Not good enough.
We should win this.

Re: R12 Game thread v Adelaide
Boming the ball blindly foward from the clearance hasn't worked well all night. Why keep bothering?

Seriously we are making them look better than what they are. Watched the Pies beat them last month and we are a shadow of the filth as a team pure and simple.

Sometimes I wonder why footballers are a bit slow upstairs (true quality isn't, but most are) - so obvious jones should've kicked it off the ground, instead crows get it and goal!

agree, that's why he may have been better to have a run at Sandy first if that was possibleVerdun66 wrote:He's got no touch. All at sea. Not surprising after a lay-off. Just needs to work into it.
