Fish and Big Boy should both miss again and come back fresh as a daisy after the bye. Imagine if they were both rushed in and got injured again.

I reckon they should play as soon as they are fit.

I reckon Adelaide will miss Vince and Johncock.

Fisher and McEvoy should be back, not sure on Geary or Saad.....with players returning from injury, it's a good problem to have trying to fit everyone in

Shower or two forecast for Friday in Adelaide.

Saints $3.25 - Under 39.5 pts

I checked the betting agencies, they have us a bit closer than I would have expected (6 day break, hostile crowd, Crows 8-2, etc)...if Craig was still coaching, they would NOT be where they are now. Real threat. Saints must come prepared to play. I'm sad but I think Milne will have a poor one, as he usually does away from Etihad.
You can't question his endeavour, but I know from personal experience that if you put too much pressure on yourself, you can blow up easily. At his age, it's too late- he hasn't learnt to cope with non-Etihad games.
I am not questioning his attitude nor intent nor work-rate. His focus and mindset needed to be changed. He can't do it.

Wife and I went to training this arvo. Was a light session from all the players. Ben did some ruckwork and looked good and I watched Sam Fisher do so good solid ballwork. Both looked very fit. I (at least my wife did) got all players autographs on a jumper i had been given with Banger and Bourkies autographs on :). There was around 60 ppl there to watch the boys train.

I thought Simpkin was going all right.....getting more and more experience..

Scott must have his theories on Simpkin...pity he didn't share them with us speculators..

How many defenders will The Saints pick in the 2024 draft ?

Might be "horse for courses" Bob. Blake's experience and size over Simpkin, against Tippett, who has played close to 100 AFL games, is around 200cm and 107kg. On paper, we have our strongest backline in.

Now Darren Bourke was a nice player but not sure he belongs with Harvs on a jumper.

I hope not. Dangerfield is a mid now and we dont need Dempster in there.
