Who are our bottom 6 players?

In 09 and 10 everyone pretty much knew our bottom 6 players like eddy, mqualter, peake etc but i find it hard to choose our bottom 6 now and i would say they are alot better now than in 09 and 10.
So who are our bottom 6?

Good question. I think at the moment our bottom six would be a combination of developing youth like Siposs, Cripps, Milera and good players who are just out of form like Gilbert, Gram, Koschitzke. But it's hardly a BOTTOM six. We have a very even spread at the moment. On paper you'd probably say Blake and Ray as well, but their form has been excellent.

from the team against Swans, if I have to choose bottom 6, they are Gilbert, Siposs, Geary, Cripps, Gwilt and Gram.
It was Gwilt's first game back, he will go up.
Siposs, Cripps and Geary are all young stars.
Gilbert and Gram as bottom 6 is a good position to be in I reckon !

Fact is that we no longer have 6 players who are deserving of the tag.

We could talk about bottom 2, maybe, but I wouldn't want to single 2 of them out. And I'd have to decide by a process of elimination.

Never thought I'd be seeing it this way this season.

Disclaimer: Keeping it simple (read lazy) I'm limiting this opinion to last week's team, and basing it on (perceived) player output this season. I'm not taking into account (perceived) future/past potential either. So in no particular order I can only come up with four names, and IHMO a think that agrees pretty well with the central tenet of this thread, in that our list is looking good & more balanced for the future...

Cripps, Sippos, Gilbo (sorry), Gram (wouldn't wanna' disappoint )

If this list was based on future potential, it would be a bit different.

Its a bit hard to nominate the bottom 6. I think the team has become more even with the player turnover from last season. We have lost the likes of Eddy, MqQalter and repalced them with some young players that are still developing. But i think if you compared last years bottom 6 to this years then this years would be better and younger.

I tried to come up with our bottom 6 by doing my top 25 right now if we had all players available and came up with this:

Sub: J.Geary

Emg: T.Milera S.Gilbert A.Siposs


It was bloody hard! Not to mention I forgot all about Dempster (who I highly rate) and Goddard on my first attempt and there's no Cripps named at all. Not a bad place to be in. I don't know if I like Geary as a sub either!

So from Rd 9's team I guess you would say Cripps, Siposs..Saad, Milera? I'm stuck!
