Sleeve tatts
I'm quite happy for Filth players to have a "sleeve" tatt...they suit them. I've seen Nathan Jones and Mitch Clark with the full sleeve and not sure that it suits the cleancut image of MFC...Go Dees! Last night i was in shock to see the timid Josh Hunt (demonstrated his lack of ticka again last night when standing under a high ball) with the full sleeve...is he trying to fool the general public that although he plays soft he really is a tough guy.
Now my main concern....Jason Grams ink on his forearm has grown and he now has what i term a half sleeve. If Gram gets bored and finds himself with a full sleeve then its time for him to move on from the Saints. I hate to say it but he isnt known for his huge heart and i fear the sleeve tattoo is an attempt to compensate for other inadequecies.
Please Grammy...no more ink!

Re: Sleeve tatts
This for real? Him getting tattoos would have nothing to do with how he plays football.
Strange post.

Re: Sleeve tatts
No substances involved here DSG.
I'm just over the sleeve and dumb footballers copying other dumb footballers and sleeving up.
Future sleevers in Justin Sherman and Aaron Davey please think twice.

Re: Sleeve tatts
Why not just scribble all over your body with a few different colored biros and look like a d**khead temporarily, then clean it all off later.

Re: Sleeve tatts
Agree those Tatts are a shocking look.
Sleeves look they belong on prisoners.
How ordinary does that rubbish on Dustin Martin's neck?
Personally I think StKilda should ban them.
Sets a bad example.

They'll all be lining up to have them scraped off in a few years time.

I'm with you Dalboy. "I'm just over the sleeve and dumb footballers copying other dumb footballers and sleeving up."
Looking at the boys in the bay the other day ... Lenny, Milne, Roo... great physiques without scribble marks, Chinese symbols and shoulder to wrist tatts.
Defintely a classier look. Didn't mind the odd Akker, Barry Hall, Andrew McLeod shoulder tatt but the way Swan is intent on covering his body with wall to wall scribble is to quote Dame Edna ... "very common."

Re: Sleeve tatts
Hunt is a joke and looks ridiculous and is at the end of his career.
With regards to Gram, he does have a toughness, so I'll allow him his tatt.

Add in that haircut and Dane Swan looks like a 1930's lifer from Cell Block H.

Spot on IMHO "Newman".
I can recall there was research undertaken years ago about people who wore written messages on their tee shirts, finding was, the more inarticulaate a person was they more they hid behind a slogan on a tee shirt......................
Wouldn't be surprised when someone will get astronomical funding oneday to do research on types attracted to such scribble all over their body................ and come up with what we already know eh.................... bogans, inarticulate and very, very, common persons

Re: Sleeve tatts
silly thread really is, just cause you have tatts does not make you tough, its personal choice.... Leave it to them to make that opinion....
