Elsternwick Park I think
As to why they didn't move? Ground too far from local supporters?
It was Elsternwick at that! Good one Len!
The reason we didn't move there is the VFl witheld approval for the ground. Never revealed why, actually. But there you go.
Over to you, Len.

OK.
Selhurst Saint has a Q too so we can have 2 questions going - the first in with the correct answer can proceed.
Hopefully my Q is a relatively easy one...
Which current Saints player (minimum 50 games) has the best win / loss AFL record (and what is it)?
We know? that Leigh Fisher has 9 wins from 10 games, but this is for more "established" players...
We have quite a few players who are around 50 games or more now.

Brent Guerra?
Played for Port when they were successful, then came to us and we've won more then we've lost.

Cosmo Kramer from "Sienfeld". Based on eccentric New York identity Kenny Kramer, a mad Sainter if I ever saw one!

Sorry for the lack of reply, guys, I've been busting my backside at Work this week.
My question -
We all know the St Kilda Saints were nearly the St Kilda Panthers, but by which animal nickname were the St Kilda side sometimes refered to around the turn of the last Century, and why did the name not stick around?

Seagulls??
As for why who knows?
I think it was in reference to our home by the sea.

You got it, HD.
The official word I am told is that Williamstown got in first with refrence to "Seagulls", but I'm not sure of the validity of that.
Your go anyways.
