Unbelievably poor umpiring. I think one of the umps got upset with the Saints and then just started awarding random frees to the Hawks. Should be looked at by Dimwit.

That advantage call was just wrong. No excuses just a wrong decision cost us a goal. Mind you from the kick in they goaled. The fifty to Rioli was WRONG then to make it worse Polo marks gets tackled gets nothing. Then Stanley marks ump calls play on. Doubt we would have won but to go and watch that level of incompetence is something that makes me not want to go again next week.

The one that got me was after Joey was awarded a free just inside 50 in the third quarter. After refusing to give up the ball, Mitchell just puts it on the ground behind the man on the mark and runs off. How is that not a blatantly obvious 50? Lo and behold, not paid.

3rd week in a row we have had that little turd. I really don't think his decisions are "incompetent"; after watching him for 3 week, it seems to be more along the lines of "malicious".

Since the 32-8 rout of Adelaide in round 2 2009, I have not blamed any loss on umpiring, no matter how bad it may have been (Port or Freo this year)

But this was bloody disgraceful.

Inconsistency and incompetency are two traits that I despise in umpires.... tonight we saw copious amounts of both.

As many have said, didn't cost us the game, probably only cost us a bit of momentum but my word, it was pathetic tonight.
